We actually played some quality football, annoying the last minute shot didn’t go in. Thought for sure we had scored.

Putting this down to Pep purely for the second half subs. Bernardo and Rodri a full 90 again?! Did Nico G shag Pep’s daughter where the hell has he gone? We were getting slaughtered on transition after the first equaliser! Phil should have been hooked for Nico G. Next is Semenyo was just not in the game the final 10 minutes why not go like for like with Marmoush? Especially as he was around the central areas.

Only bright spark at the end of that was Cherki must start every game as out deep lying playmaker and Savinho looked really bright coming on, even more so than Doku who has been injured for even less time.
 
There are some remarkably ridiculous emotional posts so far.

Had that last second chance gone in everyone’s cocks out and pep’s a genius. Fine margins.

Actually thought we played really well in general.

But, you have to kill games off when on top. Too many times this season we haven’t done that. Needs to improve.

I’m not one to moan about refs but that **** was beyond bent.

Arsenal ain't great, that's why we've managed to stay in the mix.

How many goals have Haaland and Foden scored between them in the last 15 games, I get less than 5.

All tonight's results will do is spur Arsenal on even more now ..... our players and manager knew the game was up after the final whistle.

You can forget about them dropping enough points to allow us back into it now.
 
Disturbing lack of energy at times, especially when we're on the back foot. Foden wasn't great, but we lost two points because of a lack of legs in midfield. Savinho showed glimpses of why Pep sees something in him, he can beat a man I would argue more readily than even Doku.

Rodri and Bernardo, fantastic players, offer so much to our play when we have the ball, but when neither can make it back to the edge of our own box to put bodies in the way, it creates a situation where every opposition chance is that much more deadlier. Trouble is, only Nico gives us that energy. Kovacic and Gonzalez are not really that kind of player.

Don't give up hope. Win the game in hand and beat arsenal and it's just a point in it. Has to be a team meeting tonight to ask each other if they really want it. If so, it has to be perfection now, nothing else will do if they want the league. Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham, every one a cup final.

Arsenal know now they don't have to win every game. They can lose to us and still win it. But can they win the other 7?

I do wonder if the other competitions could have an effect though. Get dumped out of the champions league and maybe league form takes a nosedive for a game or two...
 
4 penalty shouts, at least 2 of which are given at every other stadium.

Either corruption or incompetence. Either way should not be refereeing.

I’m actually the opposite, not a massive fan of the direction the club seem to be taking in terms of signings. A lot of players who lack in any sort of technical ability, it all seems to be about power. I’m amazed at how many of these players are playing for a Pep side. Not got one winger who can reliably beat a man and create, so we rely on Nunes….
 
Just on the train home but any idea what pipes plan was when they first equalised and Ake was about to come on but sat down when we scored?, what was he going to offer??

I urge you to go on any teams forum. Its full of threads talking about pens they should have had and how things could be different.

Even Arsenal fans will be thinking they should be further ahead and would pinpoint decisions as to why they're not.

That's what football fans do.

Ultimately we have 90+ mins to win a game and didn't.
 
Useless tactics with a useless striker up front, haaland as been piss poor for a while now. You do not see him winning headers, jumping with defends, bully ling defences and has zero impact on the game or any game in fact unless we get a penalty

IMHO, Forest fought for everything, scored two good goals and personally I thought Anderson was the man of the match. I thought Foden didn’t do anything tonight to justify his place in the first eleven though I was pleased when I saw his name on the team sheet and why Guardiola continues to bring on Savinho is mysterious.
I’m still not sure why we didn’t get a penalty when Anderson kicked Rodri near the end of the match. If that challenge was anywhere else on the pitch it would have been a foul and a booking as his studs were up.
