Can’t believe we had 2 subs spare with players like Marmoush and Reijnders on the bench and don’t use them. Just bizarre.
100%.

I really didn't understand the pair of them bring unused, especially Marmoush.

I thought the subs were strange against Leeds, but that tonight was really bizarre.

We were even going to see Nathan Ake come on only for Rodri put us 2-1 ahead!

Did you see Pep and the players at the final whistle ?? Pep straight down the tunnel, one hand in his pocket, looking cheesed off .... the players barely offering handshakes, nobody smiling, just looking down ..... they all knew what tonight's results meant, and especially our own result, they knew they had let down the fans ..... the seasons games are now fast running out, and only an unlikely Arsenal collapse is gonna open the door again.

And you're absolutely right about our failure to shut Andersons shot down before he struck it .... City players SHOULD have been charging at him and throwing their bodies in front of that, any way they could, and as fast as they could .... but it just didn't matter enough to them.
yet but it was big balls foden that let him run into space i think you need rethink above statement

Savinho did more in that last 10 minutes than any of our other attacking players did all game
TBFH I down to either black out or dissociate when he comes on the field so pardon me for not sitting on my hands eyes peeled with bated breath waiting for him to find some semblance of form.

We seemed to completely control the 1st half without actually creating anything. Pretty tedious to watch other than the sole goal.
Second half was played at the same slow pace with almost no intensity. It’s as if we were seeing a parked bus for the first time ever, rather than 30 games a year for the last decade. The uplift in the last 10 mins. was great but where the fuck was that desire the rest of the game. Forest game plan worked, ours didn’t, although I’m not sure we had one.
Too slow, no creativity, probably the right result.

These things happen...lots of twists & turns with 9 games left...we win at wembley & the etihad against Arsenil and the momentum will shift...up the blues, keep the faith.
We're seven points behind Arsenal now, we can't affect the momentum unless Arsenal collapse .... and it's gonna take MORE than beating them at the Etihad to do that !

Seriously, who cares? If you are a true City fan, you will have long since realised the club you once loved is long gone. Stolen from under our noses and now whored out as a money making franchise employing mercenary players. While you travel back home after spending a fortune on your ticket, food and parking, them players will are getting a rubbed down whilst checking their socials, and that's all before fixing their hair and putting on the rolex watches. Do you really believe that any of them seriously give a feck about you, that club, or that result tonight? Not a feckin chance! Every single one of them is me, myself and I, and even before you are home to your bed to spend the night reliving the soft goals conceded and the lack of chances taken, the club's bean counters will be sifting through their fan spend analytics to decide who are the next batch of legacy fans to turf out and one day replace with people who couldn't find Manchester on a map.

Bad week?

I’ve seen some wild takes tonight but that might be the best
go on why?

Im not saying semenyo aint worth playing but he aint a techincal player.....he si a good goal scorer but we have one of those and playing both together seems to be nullyfying Haaland

Spend far too much of our games, probably about 35/40 mins. Passing from one side of the pitch to the other. We must end these boring side shows. Get more crosses in and shots on goal. Forest scored from a cross, then from 25trds. By having a pop. Simples
Spot on ,how many deflected goals do we see in most games , Saka's goal for the Goons was deflected tonight , totally agree we try to walk the ball in or try and score the perfect goal , Foden had as least half a dozen opportunities to shoot tonight , if half of them end up in Row Z , thats fine , because one of them could be deflected and we score a fluke , you dont buy a ticket you dont win the raffle :)

I know it's not the 17/18 side, but whenever we get chance to break and get the ball out wide, our player does a 180 degree turn and knocks it back, allowing the opposition team to get 8 men back behind the ball. It's almost like we want that wall in front of us.

Yep, yet when teams break on us, a couple of quick passes and they cut through us like a knife through butter !
