Its time the truth came out. On some euro away, France? we were all esconsed in a bar and as usual Biggie was late, it was his round, I rang him and he used the excuse that the police had made him go to the next town !!!

First drink. Benidorm in the 70's. Family holiday. One of those sangria and chicken in a basket party night's. Thought the sangria was fruit juice,just helping myself to the stuff. Mum and dad went mad. I was under 10 I think.

First pint. Red rose in Wythenshawe. My uncle Colin bought a round. 1 to many so he slipped it to me. Pint of mixed - probably about aged about 11

First pint I bought. Moss side pub in Ashton. Used to get a pound on monday for my bus fare to school (clipper card) used to be able to get a pint and 2 games of pool for a quid. Early 80's that was Im sure

That was my local from age 17 to about 25, would have been most of the 80's.

At the Hale Barns village May Queen fair in Halecroft park in 1969.

The eldest brother of a friend asked us if we wanted to try a beer, we said yes, so he went off and brought back a pint for each of us. I was 12 at the time and thought it tasted horrible but managed to finish it.

Blast from the past I used to go club nights in there called Tangled I think in the late 90’s
My first pint was probably either in the Dog and Partridge or the White House in Denton. (£1.38 for a Pint of Ayingabrau Sam Smiths boozer in the W house )

Mine was in the Parkside after a midweek City reserve game when I was 15.

Fucking hell. I cannot actually remember. I remember hating beer through my early teens. Then I started to like Cider, then I changed to good lagers. Then all the %s dropped quite noticeably. Now I don't really drink pints at all as most drinks are the strength of what Woodpecker used to be.
