I’ve paid £52.50 on the Cup Scheme for mine and it wouldn’t annoy me if the club massively reduced ticket prices for the many remaining tickets.

Get the ground full, get the remaining tickets down to £20-25.

Mine should never have been £52.50 in the first place, it’s only the Ro16. It’s nowhere near selling out at these stupid prices and I’d rather have a full stadium.

I still think they need to do this. Sales nearly always slow to almost nothing after a window has been opened. They might do some hard pushing on social media I suppose.

Nearly 4,000 gone since last night. Will generally slow now but for a potential bump tomorrow if we get a draw or more. Think this will definitely sell out this week but how many proper blues will be there due to cost is another question.

I’m away again but refuse to pay these prices generally. Will go to Liverpool if it’s priced reasonably.

If the club get even more stringent with the sales criteria sales will drop even more. And that's the only way to stop away fans. You could argue that it's chicken and egg but I don't believe it is. I believe a lot of our regulars have never gone to all but the biggest Champions League games.

Get more stringent with the sales criteria but cap home ticket prices at 30 quid and it won't be an issue. I know a lot of people who were on the CL cup scheme but fucked it off on the back of the expanded group phase.

It costs more to watch crap in the Championship.
Matches against the biggest team in the World, and against the Red Scouse in a quarter final have got to be worth more than two packs of ciggies. (Thought i would catch Cancer going for a wee v Forest )

Even if that means those who think they deserve cheap tickets for whatever reason are replaced by those who want to pay.
