Possibly, but it's odd how some people seem to get into so many situations where they need to apply so much self defence...
His reputation preceedes him, so he will be a target for every nut and would be hardman trying to gain some street cred by beating him up. The fact he is known to use violence at the drop of a hat will deter some but be an attraction for others.
Also he's not exactly the turn the other cheek kind of bloke. Even for the peaceful person there are plenty of irritating wankers out there these days who'd try the patience of a saint. His type of mentality won't ignore them.
All true, but I don't want to give him an iota of sympathy, because after all he's done in the past he doesn't deserve any.
In each violent episode he'll have had the chance to walk away and he's not taken it.
