The main problem is a failure to create goal scoring opportunities, either from open play or set pieces. The inability to put in a decent cross is maddening, what the fuck do they do in training? 15 corners and not one led to a chance on target!
 
Second half was decent and was just one of them games. Would like to see Nico G and Rodri get a run, NOR has bags of time and needs rotation a bit more. The league was always a bridge too far and I guess so is the CL. Haaland just can’t catch a break, he connects well and some **** gets their mug in the way, he’ll be back in the goals before long.
No time to lick our wounds, let’s give the Madrid mob a good game on Tuesday.

It's not peps fault it's the players. We won in the past thanks to the caliber of player's we've had not just quality but their character. Apart from the captains, nobody strikes me as taking up a leadership role apart from Cherki. The whole team feels very disjointed.

Not to mentioned We were spoilt for players with likes of Kdb, david silva, aguero, etc. There is nobody of that caliber in our team now and those that were are on the tail end of their careers.

We are still in a rebuild but pep is still the best out there, I hope he finishes his contract but move players on that obviously aren't going to cut it and stop pretending or banking on unforeseen "potential".

Pep was the best. What made him great deserted him a while ago.

We can blame the players all we want but who's the last player Pep has actually improved?

Doku, Savinho and Grealish were all better players before we signed them. Reijnders and Cherki can barely get a look in. Haaland and Foden are unrecognizable from previous years.

I know some of you really rate Marmoush but I just don’t see it. Scores the odd worldie but he’s lightweight, gets knocked off the ball easily, doesn’t have a great first touch and definitely isn’t an out and out forward.
He’s not the only one but tonight he looked out of his depth.
Anyway, roll on Tuesday for the comeback of all comebacks.

25 shots isn’t a indication of how poor we were though, 25 half chances maybe non of them with real conviction and our goal was even a bit lucky!
 
Before the teams were announced many of us thought Cherki and Doku first on team sheet but no , well done Peppington Services for making it all about you.

Many of the players are pathetic with the lack of intensity, determination and intelligence.
No team is the slightest bit afraid of us anymore as they know what to expect and that they can get a result.

I have no idea what they must do in training but it isn’t anything to address the problems so they work in an actual match.

So frustrating and boring now.
