We're not playing like a team that is going to lay a glove on them tbh.

I'll still walk to the stadium on Tuesday night believing but we need a miracle.

Just want an early goal to give us some belief.

Cherki has to start.

We must be the most boring team to watch at the moment. If that was a team desperate to compete for the League, then heaven help us. We are getting nothing on Tuesday. Our attack is as dangerous as a toy sword.
 
This could be the time to try something different against Madrid, like dropping Haaland and trying a false 9 instead. We have many attacking players who can interchange in game as a false 9 to spin Rudiger and co.’s heads, constantly rotating positions, dragging their centre backs out of shape, and creating spaces for runners from deep to exploit, rather than wasting a player slot and letting Rudiger eat Haaland alive all game like in the past.

Come on Pep, change it up a little. We need our technical players starting, three strikers playing who have limited technical ability will never work. We need Cherki, Phil and Doku playing close to each other, that’s the only chance we have of coming back here. Push Nunes and Ait Nouri right up from the off.

If there’s any game Phils going to play himself into form, this is the one.
 
I’d say rotate the team and rest players for the final but I don’t even know what our best team is
 
I said we'd win 2-1 tonight and lose 2-1 against Madrid on Tuesday. I'd like to revise that to 3-0, to Madrid.

Headless, no game management, not taking our chances. We'll be picked off easily. Hope I feel more upbeat by Tuesday.

Maybe we just need that one chance to go in, but feel like there's a hell of a lot more wrong with us than that. I think it's also debatable now whether Trafford gets a game.
 
Got a feeling that after recent disappointments we’re going to beat Madrid, but probably by a single goal. We haven’t got it in us to turn round a three goal deficit.

The big game is next Sunday. League and CL are as good as gone. We need to focus on the domestic cups.
 
I don’t see how we manage to score 3+ goals, and certainly not keep a clean sheet. But our best chance of doing that is having Cherki, Foden, and Doku all on the pitch together.
Foden doesn’t look at his best, I agree, but he’s the only one who actually tries and is capable of shooting from distance, and we really need that against Real’s deep defensive block.

I cant recall a game yet where he as performed good in both halves.
So if he starts expect him to be the first to get hooked.
Doku should start
Maybe it's time for Nico Oreilly to have a rest.
I fancy us to win but unfortunately still get knocked out. Can't see us keeping a cleansheet. CTID
