AB is about the same age as I am.
I quit drinking when I was 64 as I was spending too much time and money trying to act like 'one of the lads' and it was taking a long time (days) to escape the low mood which drink was causing.
I only regret that I didn't see the light years earlier.
AB is, sadly, a victim of his own past, needs to change his ways, but probably can't. It's a tough gig as they say.
It is said that drink is a good servant but a poor master.
Putting loyalties aside, he's always seemed fair in his show when talking about football and I wish him well.

I finished by saying the only original thing about you is you became the biggest set of cunts in world football. He just looked dumbfounded.

It was in my top 5 career moments and was fuck all to do with work.

But there are always notable exceptions to the rule

The media is always complicit. They didn’t print the Brian Clough or Howard Kendall stories till after they died. Perhaps that was respect but perhaps it was just part of the laddish culture.
 
If these get a CL place for next season then will they stay with carrick?
