How do they alty taylor to ref their games?
While I’m at it they have no big screen, no away fans pitch side and the fcukin roof still leaks!

It will be different and a lot harder next season.

The reality is if they go into next season with the same squad, then yeah it'll be a struggle for them with all the games and they won't compete for the big ones...

But that also applies to us.

That's the harsh reality, we are not in a much better position. Our current squad also hasn't the quality to compete at the high level with the workload on top.

Yeah not disagreeing with that, but this thread is about United and my point was that their oldest players (Casemiro, Fernandes Shaw Maguire) have coincidentally also been their most consistent performers, plus their set piece threat is on a different level to ours.

In contrast our oldest players just look old.

Casemiro and Fernandes in particular have benefited from more rest time between games

Sadly we are more or less around the same level now. We are a tad better but not much.

A big indication of how far we've regressed in two years
All I’ve heard is how brilliant the rags are with world class players such as Bruno Messi

That really would be a disgrace but, St. Beneathus day isn't boxed off yet.
St. Beneathus Day will fall somewhat later this year, that's all. The granny shagger now calling for them to give Carrick the job is music to my ears. History has a habit of repeating itself. Especially with a guy who couldn't even manage the Smoggies.

It'll be the difference between tues/wed European football, and the thurs night journeys to the arse end of the continent. Like him or not, he's easily their most important player.

His biggest asset, of course, being that he has only missed 6 games for united through injury in the last 7 years. That is unnatural good fortune.
