Nico G isn't perfect, so anyone acting like leaving him out is crazy is going over the top. He's a player who has done well at times this season and could go on to be really good for us, but isn't there yet.
I'd like to see us try a midfield 3 of him, Rodri and Cherki, but it probably won't happen. Our best passers, but perhaps they haven't got enough speed when we dont have the ball, but we'll never know if we don't try it.
I wouldn't be gutted if he left though because of that - I could understand it. There are players out there who are a bit more dynamic, and that would perhaps help us at times. Anderson would probably give us that and Gonzalez is probably closest to him in terms of role.
Wouldn't be particularly surprised if Nico or Reijnders left this summer. Manchester isnt for everyone from warmer places, particularly if you aren't a regular starter.
