A heavy dose of not winning anything this year, and appreciating what we’ve witnessed over the past decade, might be just what’s required.

The best home atmospheres I’ve ever experienced were vs Real and Bayern, in the CL, but when it takes stakes like that to get our fans going, it leaves the average game feeling very, very flat.

Growing up in the 90s in the Kippax, with nothing to sing about, but my ears still ringing on match day, has spoiled me.

Winning titles has spoiled us all.

Were you there? 7:50 the PA was turn up and they blasted music until the teams came out Fans made a valiant effort to be heard but were drowned out the atmosphere was excellent tonight even after they scored
 
What did the mosaic look like on the East stand?

I was side on to it in 111.

It looked a bit hit and miss.

Has any got a picture of it?

I didn’t get that either.

Asking the fans to get to their seats early and then blasting out music. Was it just to get the fans to hold the cards up, rather than to chant?

Loads of mosaic left fastened to seats at the end. From 011, it looked like half the East Stand had phones up more than cards.

A fella behind me must have 80% of the game on his phone. The fella in front had a microphone fastened to his jacket. I don't belong at the Etihad. I don't like it any more. And that's not just because of the loss. Seeing Arsenal and Spurs shirts in our end, taking photos and stirring up long-term fans is utterly stupid. We're not really here.
