A partnership of dreams!

One is a hard, fast, strong, great tackling, battling, old school defender with a touch of class on the ball and the other is a refined modern footballer who plays at the back, a goalscorer, got a great shot on him, good in the air, who also has a great tackle in his locker.

Can’t wait to see those two playing together regularly.

yeah. he has that Captain material way in which he plays: passion, energy and strength. he is a bit like a quicker version of Vinny. Maybe that’s wrong comparison but i just love how much he gives for the badge. an absolute warrior.

I'd say Walker just about had the edge, but Khusa is still lightning.

In my opinion, as someone who used to be a decent sprinter and ran at a decent club level, Khusa would beat prime kyle if they both had a decent amount of space to run into, say 100m.

I reckon Kyle was a bit quicker off the mark as Khusanov is a big unit but Khusa would do him once he gets going.

Always hard to judge footballers, people post stats about speed but no players ever gets good amount of field to run into with an equal start, nobody on the turn, no ball etc. So the stats never mean much.

Then you have players like Doku who are exceptionally quick over 10 yards. Insane acceleration, would arguably compete with a top level sprinter over 10 yards but his top speed is fairly average

Tired of us putting players in positions they don't really play.

Besides, having that kind of speed at centre back is far more useful because teams usually hit us on the break through the middle. There was a couple of moments against Madrid the other day when they would be clean through on goal on the break if Khusanov wasn't playing CB


He has the potential to be one of the best CB's in the world. We don't need to convert him. Maybe just buy a proper right back.

Would be absolutely crazy to move him. Also we’d miss Nunes in most games as he’s good at providing width in attack

Why though? This is baffling to me. Just because Walker was fast and was a right back, it doesn’t mean right back is where our fastest player always needs to be. If anything it’s more valuable to have that pace centrally as he can in theory stop even more attacks than what Walker could. From the centre, the entire width of the pitch is within Khusanov’s reach.
