Think we can rule Klopp out. If he was exhausted and needed a break, with the favourable officiating they got, can u imagine him after a season with us and the shit we get every week
1. Vinny. 2. Enrique 3. Alonso
4 onwards. I don't give a fuck.
One thing I'll say. There's fuck all chance that the club are putting Maresca in charge of this squad in the summer of 2027.
And someone who can organise a defence to a satisfactory standard. It was embarrassing watching the amount of space afforded to them, especially the first leg. O' Reilly was constantly sucked into the middle leaving one, sometimes two, Madrid players free on the right hand side. Both legs saw us running next to Madrid players, 20, 30, 40 yards without any sort of challenge, until they reached the edge of our penalty area. Last night, we constantly shown the cry baby inside, instead of the outside. Total shambles.Whoever it is, needs to bring a Set Piece Coach with them.
Chelsea looked like they weren't coached under him.The thought of Maresca is incredibly underwhelming. The way his teams play, his lack of charisma, it would be difficult to think of a worst choice as a fan wanting a connection to the club/team.
I’d take any of those three. All great appointments in their own way.1. Vinny. 2. Enrique 3. Alonso

Whatever political opinions he’s got personally, it really means fuck all in this context, leave it out of this forum. He also says Israel and the US are great so, I wouldn't take any notice.
Not sure I can agree with that corky. Our club has been set up for the last 15 yrs to play a certain way, from the juniors all the way through to the senior team, playing the same way, so that the players who progress from the Ed’s teams etc can slot seamlessly through to the 1st team. We aren’t changing the way we play to appoint Klopps kick and run.Football moves on, Charles Hughes was well respected in the 1980s, then blamed. There is no right way to play football if you can't adapted to change, happened to Wenger, Mourinho, Clough, Bielsa.

Fair comment. But the ethos of the club hasn’t changed. We are ‘holistic ‘ still….We've literally changed the way we play from 7 years ago to 5 years ago to now.
Sterling and Sanè - fast free flowing attacking football
Treble season - keep the ball and get Haaland in the game.
Now - backwards and sideways.
We wouldn’t “get by” with Enrique. He’s an elite manager that has achieved much more than Kompany. If you took out the City connection with Kompany, nobody would have him top of their list. That’s not to say I don’t think the City connection counts for something, but it’s the the main reason people are picking him as first choice when the logical first choice is 100% Enrique. If it's not Vinnie then it would be very disappointing. Would get by with Alonso or Enrique. Wouldn't mind if they went rogue and tried a Fabregas. Anyone else would be underwhelming
I respected Klopp before every press conference he did was a bitch and whine fest about everything under the sun. I simply cannot get behind a coach like that.Klopp doesn’t play football the City way.
Isn't Alonso a bit of a control freak like Pep? I would rather let the handbrake of a little so the other two for me.I’d take any of those three. All great appointments in their own way.
