One and a half is pushing it. One tier and about 20 in 2nd tierFor the so called biggest club in the world their support was laughable 1 and a half tiers out of three, and they call us for empty seats.
Clear and organised.

Loads in cb3, kicking
Its not scaremongeringWhy do we have to have this perpetual Bluemoon scaremongering? I didn’t see a single Real Madrid fan in my entire stand. Plenty of foreigners and tourists and families but all supporting City. Most of the regulars were in their own seats around me.
Need to drown out that north london song they singI have to admit I was sceptical after going 3-0 down that some fans wouldn't bother turning up dispite already buying tickets.
Glad I was wrong
Last night our fans done us proud just 50% of that effort at Wembley on Sunday and Arsenal won't know what's hit them
I totally agree, but for all the ridicule, that dreadful North London song actually unites Arsenal fansNeed to drown out that north london song they sing
it would be great to get a new song, other than Blue Moon. Something about Manchester, something like Dirty Old Town (but not Salford, obvs), that can be sung for a minute or so and unite us. Blue Moon will always have a place but it's a bit of a dirge.
I consider Where not really here as our anthem always have done.I totally agree, but for all the ridicule, that dreadful North London song actually unites Arsenal fans
In contrast our most popular songs are about managers and players no longer at the club, and don't serve as any form of inspiration for the current squad.
Even worse, it alienates a significant proportion of City supporters who think we should be singing something more relevant
As so many posters have already asserted, we need a proper anthem that brings us all together
Certainly not that modern version of Blue Moon
I think Real Madrid will only sell tickets to registered fans so other fans can't get in the empty seats in the away section. I'm sure City could organise some sort of transfer but it would only work if the visitors don't sell their allocation.I thought the atmosphere in the first 20 minutes was great, understandably dropped off after the penalty, but definitely the first time i have ever stood for an entire home match in the North stand.
Not sure if it was just near me but there almost seemed to be an unhealthy obsession with trying to label people as Madrid fans, the guy who sat next to me (ironically he was Spanish) kept telling me the two guys in front were Madrid fans, if they were they didn't react to the Madrid goals so didn't cause any issues, and given the number of empty seats at their end i don't know why they would want to sit in our end?

Especially next season when there's a load of coorperates behind them. I'd get great satisfaction of them having to stand the whole gameI thought it was great seeing a large part of the north stand stood up. It should be like that every big game
Absolutely this. There's a readymade one in Don't Look Back In Anger. Manchester band. Blues. Decent tune that loads of fans will already knows the words to. And has got a strong City vibe of 'get over it'.
Presuming you mean the blue empty seats?Even the Australians do it better :- )
Ha ha, hadn't thought of that. It was more the size of the flag it was......Presuming you mean the blue empty seats?
They’ve got more empty seats than us.Even the Australians do it better :- )
Bluemoon would be fine if we sang the verse as wellit would be great to get a new song, other than Blue Moon.
