So you say,it's an opinion, obviously we aren't as good ast the treble 4 in a row team but that was a culminations of years of building towards that .This is a new team beginning that journey again,but using facts like points, GA , GF then talk of regression, from when we started this new rebuild last season is nonsense as we are obviously getting better.We keep buying weaker and inferior players to those before them. This is what I am thinking. The treble side was a generational thing - it’s highly unlikely a side will hit those heights again for a long long time. What we can do in the rebuild is improve on what we have overall as a squad currently ( there may be individuals who go that can’t immediately be replaced at the same level but the overall squad level gets better). Trafford , Stones, Ake , Bernardo and Kovacic are likely to go in the summer and apart from Bernardo have added very little this season. Beyond that group would think we may lose another player but would largely keep the rest and add new keeper, new full back more defensively minded, and 2 midfielders. Yes we take for granted winning a treble and 4 in a row, these things aren’t normal they are extraordinary and rare we should appreciate fully what we saw,think too many under appreciate it by expecting it to be a regular thing. We shouldn’t take those as normal and expect them, to judge this team against that is pointless,some of this squad over the next few years might not make it and need replacing, quite a few of this squad though have lots of potential and will need time to find consistency.This is what I am thinking. Not a bad shout. I watched him play for AZ against Sparta Prague this week. Similar hair colour to KDB and looked a very tidy player. A couple of assists too. Looked very young but not sure of his age.Have you seen him play already mate? The next KDB!

I didn't really see the similarity in playing style to KDB to be honest but it was only 1 match.He’s only 20 mate but everything about screams KDB? Not just the obvious hair colour but the way he runs, shooting technique and the passes he makes and attempts? Genuinely going to be world class in a couple of years and we will regret not signing him imo.
We’d only need to play any two of them at the same time anyway. The only reason why we’re playing three in midfield this season is because Rodri and Silva have to play but lack the legs so NOR gets slotted in.Those 3 have a huge 3 goals and 5 assists between them in 77 appearances. We'd be solid but would struggle like fuck to create anything.
