Yup and the Arsenal keeper should have been sent off this year.We were robbed when the Palace keeper wasn't sent off last year for that handball.

You mean like , it was a cup final and ....My arsenal supporting friend just said, we treat games against them like cup finals. I don't know how to tell him
You write so beautifully. It makes my heart sing.So our uninvited team mates for this game lost all sense of decorum and stability over our wonderfull win.
Full time and a Tarquin presented me with a Haven Holidays four pint pitcher jug and said to enjoy your plastic win.
I warmly accepted and commenced to embrace said cup followed by 10 verses of City Tearing Cockneys Apart Again.
He continued hostilIaries so I said make sure you win the league fat lad (circa 20 stone pissed wet through) and not to repeat the previous bottlement of years gone bye.
He remained semi- aggresive, then I got reprimands of t'other half for calling him a fat lad.
Anyway upon leaving I held said plastic pitcher aloft and sung I Never Felt More Like Singing The Blues. In my opinion an absolute pleasure of an exit strategy and although I felt his pain, I wallowed upon it, and will continue to wallow upon it for days to come: That is all.
But because it was City was instantly forgotten and Palace were deserved winners , they should have been down to ten men for 70 minutes and we missed a penalty ,so how the f*ck did Palace deserve to win , we dont mention it because it sounds like sour grapes , we get shafted every season and the media lap it up.We were robbed when the Palace keeper wasn't sent off last year for that handball.
Agee with all of this, and crucially stops the Quad,it would have been insufferable. On another note I used to rate Saka but hes been coached to fall over at every possible opportunity bordering on bringing the game into disrepute, thats on Arteta.I have to say that was one of our finest moments. A season where we haven't really clicked, and a very real danger of going without a trophy again, a week where we were dumped out of Europe and up against a team hunting for the quadruple.
We outplayed them, we outclassed them and we schooled them on what top class football can look like. Way more direct and agressive than we've been for much of the season, better balanced, better organised and totally fired up.
Very proud this evening, and if this is Pep's last season, then it was yet another one with silverware to add to his long long list.
He reads the game so well, it's like being a yard faster.Well done Nathan Ake. Under appreciated but very rarely let's us down and seems a smashing bloke as well.

He's a prickHe's an ex Arsenal player and fan. At one time I thought he was a bit of a joke as he seemed to be on for the 'bants' think hes generally fine now.
Other than the fact that I don't really like TV's habit of having players wearing their partisan hearts on their sleeves when doing 'analysis' I reckon Wright seems one of the good guys..
Great results all round mate! Enjoy that bottle :)On top of winning the Carabao cup, my throat has come back all clear after having a camera down it via my right nostril this afternoon. What a great day. Well done to Pep, the team, and the fans! Having a beer now to celebrate another trophy win.

I turned on five live before the game. Fivkin Tony Adams being wheeled out for this one. Turned Straight off again. Turned back half an hour later. Fuckin Matthew Upson was the latest impartial guest to give their view! Straight off again. The bias is not even hidden is it!And now back to the studio to get the thoughts of Ian Wright, David Seaman, Steve Bould, Tony Adams, Ray Parlour, Emmanuel Petit, and Anders Limpar.
He's in the squad that matters. Is O'Reilly in the England squad?
