Arsenal (N) | League Cup Final | Post Match Thread

Yesterday he was celebrating his 21st birthday; today, he’s sunk Arsenal. Great positioning, composed, decisive, and clinical when it mattered most. We’ve got a serious player on our hands.

To a man we were superb in that second half, every player rose to the challenge, was great to see.
 
Wow, well done City. I will hold my hands up, I didn't think we'd win today and in the first 15 mins of the match it looked like it was going to be a long afternoon. We grew into the game slowly and began to take control albeit the first half without producing anything much in front of goal.

City the one half team came out in the second half and ran the show, it was definitely a game of two halves. They could barely get out of their half and O'Reilly took his chances very well. The second header was very well directed.

A great result for us and should serve as a reminder to the team that they can control games and perform well. It's been a tough couple of weeks for us, hopefully we can push on now. The title is out of our hands but we can make sure there are no more slip ups.

I thought they were really quite negative in their play, they looked more concerned about us than we were about them, our legacy I suppose.

Agee with all of this,and crucially stops the Quad,it would have been insufferable.On another note I used to rate Saka but hes been coached to fall over at every possible opportunity bordering on bringing the game into disrepute, thats on Arteta.

This is what pisses me off bout the media, they all laud arteta but the reality is that he is tony pulis with better backing

They started wasting time ten minutes in. They got what they deserved.

The first goal was brilliant. There's no way he should have got to that, but the fact he did probably showed the difference in making it out of the youth academy and making our starting 11 and moving onto other clubs.
