Or the league stage game at the Bernebeau where Nico scored the winner and was named man if the match, from left back?Did you not watch the game v Madrid when we were the better side for 70 min with 10 men ?

Ugh.
I want Anderson but I’d rather keep Nico G if it’s one or the other.
Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Kovaball too but Anderson would be an upgrade.

I've seen this film before. AKE will come in and people will complain that he isn't as solid as LAPORTE, he doesn't command his box like KOMPANY, he can't play the ball like STONES or OTAMENDI.
He might be the shiniest thing in BOURNEMOUTH's toolbox, but his personal stats aren't top level, and as a team, look at where BOURNEMOUTH currently are (relegated).
I watched ERIC GARCIA, CANCELO, RODRI et al playing against LYON and I thought that they were way off the level of the opposition. And I haven't seen that at City for the majority of Pep's time, when we were a much closer match and able to compete at that level. People are saying that NATHAN AKE is going to push us back up to the top and I honestly can't see it.
Does he even get in THE NETHERLANDS' starting 11 ahead of DE LIGT and VAN DIJK?

Might help factoring in he's not playing in nearly the same role as KDB did much less surrounded by the same talent.KDB in his final season, when he was clearly past his best, scored 6 goals and made 8 assists. In 40 appearances.
Mr. Anderson.....80 million will turn out another kalvin phiips
Pep is that you? No? Good! :pNot if I was in charge he wouldn't.
Its for all you haters. I love it!And that goal celebration needs stopping.
HahahaMr. Anderson.....
Both Bernardo and Kova are leaving so Anderson is 100% coming in. Most likely one more midfielder considering Rodri might leave too.Bollocks. There's no way we have pursued a midfielder with it hinging on Nico G or Kovacic fucking off, when Bernardo is leaving. Nonsense
We were in our best form with Nico G this season. Then Rodri returned and we started playing him over Nico G which is when our point dropping started. Rodri is nowhere as good as he used to be. Moving in slow-motion, it's like he's being too careful nowdays.I know a lot of people on blue moon seem to rate Nico G but I'm not a big fan. I'm not doubting his ability on the ball but I don't think he has the energy or mobility to play as a midfielder in the Premier League. He is fine when City are on top & dominating possession but when facing tough opposition & teams that are very quick in transmission he gets bypassed easily. Anderson possesses that energy to get round the pitch in the same way as Bernardo does, though not possessing the same skillset as Bernardo.
Rodri is pretty much back to his very best,at least 90% of his Balon D'or form and each week a little better as his confidence builds . I like Gonzalez and have hopes he can keep improving and take over from Rodri in a year or two as his confidence builds but he isn't yet at the level Rodri is back to already. We were in our best form with Nico G this season. Nico G is not waiting a year or two to get consistent playing time. Doesn't look like he'll even wait until the summer window closes.Rodri is pretty much back to his very best,at least 90% of his Balon D'or form and each week a little better as his confidence builds . Probably, though if Rodri does make it known he isn't signing a new contract I expect the club will tell Gonzalez if he's patient for one more season then he has first shot at the position,if the club belieive he has that potential.Nico G is not waiting a year or two to get consistent playing time.
