Alex Johnton became the NRL’s record try scorer today with 213 tries. The 212 record stood for 57 years.

Great scenes!

Brian Bevan scored 796 tries in his career. I know he played for a long time, but it’s still an incredible number.

Two easy weeks for Wire against Goole and Cas, I worry we might be a bit undercooked for Leeds next week as we won’t exactly be battle hardened from the last two outings.

I think (hope) we'll be fine.
It was nice to see us being ruthless.
In seasons gone by, we'd've meandered through yesterday's game, after we'd reached 30 points. Good sides show no mercy.

Couldn’t get last night’s game, heard it was a good game though.

Hull KR v St Helens tonight on Sky Sports Main Event.

I wasn't expecting Huddersfield to batter Wigan away!
Everything just clicked for Huddersfield yesterday: Wigan had a few injuries right when Hudds got a load of players back from injury, the signing of Wrench, new coach bounce and they all played well.

Wigan and Saints both go into next week’s Easter game off the back of big defeats so will both have something to prove which will give that game and even bigger edge.

A cracking game in Leeds with the Rhimos beating the Wire narrowly. Two potential Grand Finalists who may suffer by playing fair at the rucks and allowing quick play the balls.

Sivo outstanding for the Rhinos and Oledzski had a rare dominant game. Wore carrying threat with every attack.

Leeds v Wire was quite a decent game considering some crazy weather where kicking games couldn’t be executed properly.

I felt like Wire weren’t bold enough when dominant with the wind behind us first 25 minutes and we felt one forward light with not enough go-forward through the middle.

Leeds look like they’ve got the Vegas hangover out of their system now.

There was, disappointly, a hell of a lot of simulation, diving, injury feigning and cheating from both teams though yesterday.

With no footy to speak of on tele yesterday, there was Sale v Bath then Leeds v Wire for casual sports fans and it was chalk and cheese between the two sports with how much cheating was going on. There was nothing to really speak of in terms of cheating in the Union game but it felt like every set there was someone doing some stupid shit that was winding me up for both Leeds and Wire yesterday.

Not a good look for our sport that, considering how good the game had been outside that shit.

Anyone else on the free piss up for the 30th anniversary of super league yesterday in Leeds? :)
