I think this is partially because many of them don't appear to be too hot on the alternative, who in my opinion has the potential to be a whole lot worse (I know, it seems impossible) than the incumbent.

It’s because none of them would even be remotely close to the jobs they have without Trump. Other than perhaps Bessent and maybe Turner, no other President would name any of them White House janitor let alone to their Cabinet posts. They owe him everything. Ronald Reagan, Joe Rogan or Jesus Christ could be VP.

Can you define the either untoppled or topplable dominoes, please?

Congress handed war authority to Trump. There’s nothing they can do now. His hardcore base isn’t going to leave him under any circumstances ever. Even if blues crush the midterms, 2/3rds majority to convict after impeachment isn’t going to happen either.

There is no — repeat NO — hope of any non-extraneous solution.

I saw a newspaper cartoon earlier which depicts a plane being back dead soldiers. As the soldiers coffins are being taken off Pete Hegseth is shouting at them how much they've disappointed their President.

Å lot of them are complicit in one shitshowe or another. Fealty was mentioned earlier in the thread and I agree that is exactly what it is.
I think Epstien and Trump are very similar in that their relationships are/were purely transactional and they are good at getting people to compromise themselves. They are predators in every aspect of their being.

Democracy not. Due to the immense amounts of money required to run for public office, the 2 parties represent the interests of the wealthy.
Police. Well yes they are that but not very good at it as again the criteria are financial not moral.
Opportunity. Probably as there are less rules.
