Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Spuds Supporters Trust already up in arms about De Zerbi's appointment and he hasn't even started yet!

Toxic club, fuck off to the Championship even though I'll miss the 6 points and the fact City unfathomably manage to drop points to these cretins every season.

Guess the proof of the pudding will be in the eating.

I doubt he’ll be there at the end of next season.

Maybe not even this one if they do go down, but maybe the salary is so good that he won’t care and will stay until he’s sacked.

Spurs fans already upset with the new boss, at least this time with reason over his support of Mason "put your legs up or watch what happens to you" Greenwood.

That club is trying to self implode.

Tbf....we're not too far off with our fans kicking off with potentially Maresca taking over once Pep leaves us!

De zerbi has potentially just tanked his entire career, if spurs go down, he won't fancy taking them back up, they'll be a fall oit and he'll leave and his reputation is damaged despite not really doing anything. I suppose there is an easy potentially huge upside though, if they stay up, he could very easily have them back in European contention with a couple of signings and suddenly his stock rises without having to do much. Obviously he will be very handsomely paid but I just don't see why he would take the risk of being linked to Spurs' relegation when he wants to manage top teams in the future.

Also don't think he is the kind of manager they need right now, can't be coming in and drastically changing how they play where it takes a few weeks to get the basics, they need results, they need a solid, easy to execute plan to drag them out of the shit, that doesnt seem like De Zerbi to me.

What an utter nobhead going there.

I like De Zerbi but his appointment puzzles me.

He is all about the press and closing the space. Do an already tired team low on confidence really have the energy and the legs to do what he wants?

I can't see them responding how he wants them to play, a hard season just got harder for spuds, really hope this is the final nail in the coffin for them.

Mental appointment.

He plays a very possession based game. Ball, ball, ball. Clueless defensively, leaves his teams wide open.

Relegation dogfight doesn’t need pretty passing patterns and we’ll outscore you vibes. It needs clean sheets, grind and huge heart. Big Sam, Pulis, Dyche vibes.

Let’s hope these deluded “big club” cunts go down and never come back.

FFS. Spurs fans going mad about his comments re Mason Greenwood. Here we go, some **** will bring it up in the next game and ask a female pundit about her thoughts. Expect it to be on Question Time......

I get what your saying but Dyche fooked up at Forest and as for Big Sam he went in to save Leeds and what an amazing job he did :)

He's brave or stupid in not taking a relegation clause, these are in the shit, and a West Ham win a week Friday at home to Wolves puts them in the bottom 3 with a tricky trip to Sunderland on the Sunday....................

Fucking pretty please
Nah once they hit mid table in the championship he will be fucked off with a nice payout

He’ll see keeping them up as very achievable and that will mean his stock goes up, he’s in the Premier League at a big club and the idiots have given him a 5 year contract, so he’s just made himself millions.

I had him as a potential City manager eventually after Pep. Bit of a weird one. He apparently didn't want it first time round, before they went for Tudor. Wonder what changed.
