If the club think that Maresca is the right man then so be it? Pep will most certainly be involved and recommending who follows him?
Maresca would be our Moyes. Heck Moyes might be a better manger than Maresca. At least Moyes has demonstrated staying power in this league. The club better be thinking a lot bigger than Maresca. If the club think that Maresca is the right man then so be it? Pep will most certainly be involved and recommending who follows him?
L’Equipe good for football news usually. Though not sure if that stretches outside of French news.

Maresca won trophies everywhere he went. He managed our EDS to a league title, won the Conference League and then the Club World Cup at Chelsea and got Leicester promoted out of what people call the hardest league in the world.
People talking about him like he's some bum are insane

And yet we went out to a Saudi team despite playing at full strength, costing us tens of millions of pounds.Maresca was here not even 2 years. He won the Club World Cup - does that mean that Chelsea were a better team than City at the time? Absolutely not. That tournament was a joke and anyone could have won it.
Hey; Tudor is available now.I fucking hope not after the way he managed Chelsea.
Would you consider Kompany? His qualification for the Bayern job was winning the ChampionshipMaresca was here not even 2 years. Would you consider Lampard to replace Pep? He'll win the Championship this season.

Realistically though, the difference in their CVs is that Kompany played for City as a player, which has nothing to do with his managerial ability. If Maresca had 400 games for us then people would back him too. It's just a bad way of assessing future managers.I would, yes

I'm worried he'll leave this summer (along with Rodri, Bernardo etc)I’ll worry about pep leaving next year
Yep, he’s certainly no shoe-in is he mate? Not at the moment anyway.Agreed! Vinny done well in the championship but then struggled in the premier league and went to Bayern who let’s be honest have arguably the best squad in world football!?! Obviously you have to manage the personalities and egos but it’s a dream job isn’t it? Not putting Vinny down but some begging him here already is we would be getting closer to Burnley Vinny than Bayern Vinny? I could actually see the Girona manager given a crack to be honest
