I know we shouldn’t be shocked but it’s genuinely frightening me with how insane he is. He’s got his finger on the nuclear button, the power to turn this crisis into WW3 and he can kill millions with a simple order.

If this was medieval England we’d be in rebellion against him. If this was present day UK parliament and the Crown would have to do something to remove him from office, I’d like to think that they would be too.

I just hope there’s some sense left in the Republican Party to rid the world of this ****.

Unfortunately he’s got a legion of enablers behind him, the tech bro billionaires, the right wing media, the Heritage Foundation who wrote project 2025 and about eighty million useful idiots. GOP politicians are too cowed and intimidated to speak up against him. However, the one thing that stops him literally going nuclear is his enablers business interests. Outside of that he can do what the fuck he wants.
 
Just like Noem, given cushy hush hush nothing job to save some face amongst their own and stop all the lies coming out. If they had anything about them or even an ounce of integrity, they'd refuse it, come clean and try and absolve themselves of the many crimes they've undoubtedly committed.

The world will not just forget her role and once Trump is gone, it's all his closest allies that did his crimes for him that will suffer the toughest consequences, she won't be getting away with it just because she's disappeared from the public eye for a bit.

Think its safe to say those enabler's business interests will be suffering.. because even if you say Abu Dhabi paid Trump millions or billions for protection from Iran and then he walks away and says.. you sort out your own mess -- which is what he's doing of sorts on the world stage..

What kind of brand loyalty or alliance loyalty do you expect from customers with that kinda attitude?

America and his enabler's business enterprise has just gotten a lesson how Obama's so called socialism treated them better than Trump's neo fascist capitalism.

They're not stupid, they know what he's doing. They're gutless. The problem is their fear of him and the desire to keep their own place in Congress. John McCain would have led a revolt but decency died with him.

Bondi didn't go after who he saw as his enemies. So he's putting in someone else.

Don't know why people work for him. Their reputation always end in tatters.

Trump already has America in recession when you take away the splurge on AI, he can’t walk away from the Gulf because the AI chip production needs helium which comes via the Strait, as does the fertiliser as does the oil which although the yanks are a net exporter it’s all on the same market. I suspect the real reason he wants to drag us into his war, is because he knows he has no serious politicians in his regime, they are hand picked morons. For all his snide remarks he wants our leadership.

She actually did go after them but Trump hired idiots and bimbos who werent qualified for the job and so they were only given "acting" roles that only last a period of time so the cases were dropped because they had no authority to bring them.

My point was about the catastrophic strategic blunder this is. It’s arguably worse than Putin’s in Ukraine.

I agree, I was making a side point since you mentioned Barbarossa. It is arguably even worse than Putin’s for what could be lost to the aggressors.

The reputational damage and loss of allies to the US is catastrophic. Israel’s allies in the gulf may no longer view them positively for dragging them into this and not informing them, they are rapidly losing positivity from Europe, if they have any left, and there will be a backlash by those in and around them that will put the state of Israel at greater risk.

We can’t go back to being normal with any of the countries that have started illegal wars recently, but the impact of that will be much worse with the US. I’ve always seen them as an ally and been a big proponent of Western Civilisation, I genuinely no longer see them as our ally, and if that’s true for me, it’ll be true for a lot of people I think, as I’m an average Joe.

The West has changed now, and there’s no going back. They could elect a straight down the line Democrat, someone who is a solid leader and brings all sides together, but I still will never trust them again.
