The fact he’s doing this less than a week after Hegseth and Rubio made those comments about how sad it was Iran (military budget $10bn) spent all its money on weapons instead of its people and Trump said they couldn’t afford childcare or Medicaid because there was a war on is just beyond parody.
Also I think it’s worth pointing out these cuts will hit every single major demographic of Trumps base. If you’re poor and from a red state in the south these are going to hit you the worst.
