Wirtz apparently ran the game and was the best player on the pitch until Liverpool went 1-0 down. No point in your 116m signing playing well when the conditions are favourable and then disappearing when the going gets tough. 4-0 loss with no GA or even a pre-assist.
They kept banging on about Wirtz find the space all first half. Yet the only real chance they created was from the keepers long punt upfield.
Failing to notice that we allowed that space and it affectively allowed us to play Nico wherever the space was. And he was free all the time. Which caused them
havoc.

I checked and his only chance created was the Ekitike half volley outside the box

Every fucker in the world could see this season coming. Giving massive contracts to Salah and Van Dijk, signing wing-backs to pay full-back while ignoring their depth issues in CB and CM, splurging £120m on a guy who drew a blank in 11 of 16 games between January and May last season, then splurging another £125m on a big striker when you've already signed a big striker for £70m. Every fucker could see this coming except the media. Hilarious.

Hate the games against Liverpool in the last few seasons. However what an enjoyable experience it has been playing them this season. A 9-1 aggregate has been is a very satisfying outcome, specially a last minute winner at Anfield and then denying them a pathway to a trophy yesterday, I wanted City to smash more past them yesterday I think they got off lightly with that score line.

I think Isak's signing might be one of the biggest screw-ups the dippers have made in recent years. £125 million for a disloyal, spoilt brat of a man who went on strike at his previous club to effect a move away. What's to say he won't do the same if Real or some other heavyweight comes along and dangles a carrot in front of him?
Ok, he hasn't had the time to settle in with the dippers, but was he really all that to begin with? I don't think so.

Do we get to keep them seeing as we beat them 3 times in a row?

And not addressing their lack of cover at centre-back, until it was too late in the window, and the head coach of their No 1 target allegedly threatened to resign, if said target was sold.

It’s fucking glorious!

I think, once the fourth went in, the message was, "Save your energy for upcoming fixtures".

It should have been 10

Isak is a good player but I'm not sure he's £125m worth of forward. I do like Wirtz though.

I couldn't believe their kick off at the start of the game. Are they playing rugby ffs? Embarrassing. And then the long throws too.

The other chance they got was a Rodri fuck up in our area letting the ball get away from him for Ekitiki to get off a shot.

Yeh, Wirtz created nothing. One punt and Rodri over running the ball is all they created. It was another tactical master class.

Unreal, we looked at each other and went wtf! And it’s the same old same old with that team, just hoof it forward over the top like they’ve always tried, now with the throwings Jesus Christ, a glorified Stoke City is what they are
