Seems like that in every great performance by the team, Bernie is there, running his heart out.

Would have liked him to have another year, but wish him all the best.

His performances v the dippers shows how much he cares about the club.

I could tell he'd made his mind up to leave months ago, so this news doesn't surprise me at all, all good things come to an end .... I'm sure Bernardo will never forget his time here, just as we'll never forget everything he's done for us.

He's shared in all the good times we've enjoyed over the last decade or so, and the place just won't be the same when he goes ..... we're losing not only a top player, but a really popular guy and extremely likeable guy who chose to give us his best days of his footballing career.

It would be fantastic if we could win the title, or the FA Cup for him now ....

Have to agree with you Jim

Absolutely love Bernie but for me Kev was the hardest to say goodbye to

Getting my Kev tattoo in May to go with king Colin and Rodri treble tats

But will always fondly remember Bernie
I couldn't split any of the expected names when it came to saying ta-ta to; Dave, Pablo Vinnie, Sergio and Kev. They've all left a lasting legacy at our club. As has Bernie, to be fair. I just think he's marginally behind those other names.

I hope he doesn't set his dog on me when he sees this!

We have been truly blessed

This makes me really sad, i love the bones of him, we have run him ragged over the years more so than any other player i think and it pains me so many have been slagging him off recently, he is everywhere on the pitch and you will soon see what he does for the team, he has made a great captain as well

Both mentioned separately, but when you remember Pep’s City and their 2 stand-out best-ever performances - 2-1 v Liverpool in 2019, and 4-0 v Real Madrid in 2023 - my recollections are that Bernardo ran both games from start to finish. More individual brilliance from Kev over the same period, certainly, and I’m not one for statues of players - whose essential quality is movement, after all - but Bernie’s best moments have been entire games.
