I’m actually glad he’s still going as this isn’t about just Trump and the MAGA hoard, it’s about the whole of America and commemorating its 250 year history.

And while he’s there, stick it to Trump that he’s a **** and embarrass all those who have supported his actions when he addresses Congress. In a polite way, of course.

I think him not going would severely dent his ego. Going simply validates we are ok with what he’s doing
 
So what time does TACO announce that Iran are now talking and they are near a deal, so he will hold off death and destruction for another week/two weeks.
The Iranians will then release a statement asking what the hell is he talking about, and that no agreement is being agreed.
Rinse and repeat for the next few weeks.

Saying that, he may bomb a few bridges/power plants just to show he's serious.

He claims he'd warned about Bin Laden, in a book in 2000, a year before 9/11. (He can't remember the title of "his" book.) It's not like no-one else knew Bin Laden was a threat.

Not a warning that he "has to be taken out".

Trump wouldn't give Barrack Obama any credit for the operation that did kill Bin Laden. It was navy seals that did that.

This **** needs a ( I can't say ) and he is threatening genocide tonight.

Whether the implementation is a notional button or set of codes is irrelevant,what is relevant are the comments made by people who are knowledgeable and qualified to speak on the subject.The recent Guardian article on War Crimes by Julian Borger is worth a look at

@mosssideblue weren’t you one of the moving parts in this country’s nuclear deterrent? Or is that classified and you’d have to bump off every member of the forum?
