Seat Counters 25/26

How are our big seat counters feeling coming into the biggest the best and the most unpredictable seat counting of the season..I think sales will be decent but the expensive seats will be tough do to the lack of concessions. My tip for tight arses and something I did last season for Forest was buy 4 cheap seats looked at the planner, saw where the empties were, made a note and sat in the dear seats on the half way line, little victories.

Doh! You've given the secret away now, I do that as well. Sometimes for gigs/Theatre visits as well .

I think it will sell better than last season’s semi. Firstly, because it’s on the Saturday rather than the Sunday. Secondly, because I think there was a lot of apathy and disillusionment this time last year. The drop-off in the performances of the team after so many years of success came as a bit of a shock to the fans. Also, frustration with the club which led to the ticket price protests. Sure, City don’t set the prices for the FA Cup semi-final but I reckon some fans sacked it off partly because of how the club were behaving.

Anyway, I’m scheduled to be flying back from the Canaries just as this game is kicking off so sadly I’ll be missing it but I’ll still be fully invested in the seat count.

The club needs to get it open to as many as it can, as early as it can. Don’t wait for people to make other plans.

Get the info out this morning and start sales this afternoon!! Allow more than one per person from the off and award loyalty points

That's true as well. I don't agree with 4 tickets per cup scheme member as I think that's too relaxed but maybe they should make it 2 tickets. I also think that members who have attended some or all of our home FA Cup ties should be given either priority over season ticket holders who haven't attended any or at least parity with them

City always seem to be able to gauge the interest against availability of tickets available. There should be a pull through criteria for fans who qualify before friends and family. Maybe for Cat 1,2 and 3 only?

I hope you're right, but I'm going to disagree and say that we'll sell slightly fewer than last year. A few reasons for this:

- Very Recent trip to Wembley
- Only 2 weeks until the game, compared with 3 last year
- Sales are down in general this year
- Last year the FA Cup was our only chance of a trophy

Hopefully I'm proven wrong, and a few still have Wembley fever after last month. Getting this criteria out would be a good start!

Being informed of what day and time we were playing 3 days ago would have helped both clubs to get the criteria out earlier.

Agreed, although I'm surprised they didn't have anything ready to go out once the day and time was announced. Hopefully we hear something today, ready for tickets to go on sale Monday.

Saturday makes a huge difference.
