Not this again. I said it a few months ago and got pilloried (including from Gooners) so I've done the crime but I'm not doing the time again. You think Rice is better than Yaya

Scott Carson has won more medals than the Arsenal squad but he ain't better than Raya. Shearer won less medals than Andy Cole but was miles better. Matt Le Tissier won zero medals but a peak version would walk into any current PL side. Medals alone aren't the measure of a player else ratboy Neville is the greatest defender in the history of English football.Foden, at the age of 25, has won more medals than the entire Arsenal squad put together. He has played 361 games and scored 110 goals in that time. He has won so many personal honours I cannot keep count, including Footballer of The Year a couple of seasons ago and player of the tournament when England won the U17 World Cup. One average season does not make him shit. A season where he has scored one goal more than Limpalong and two if you disregard penalties.
Once he has a had a decent break, not having any sort of break since he was about 15, and he will be fine. To call him the City Saka is disrespectful in the extreme, especially when Foden tries his best to stay upright whereas Saka does his best impression of a grass inspector from the first minute to the last.
Your last post rates alongside Plodder being better than Yaya in it's stupidity.
By the way, it is Ederson not Emerson.
Just looked at the current voting and Raya is currently leading the poll, Courtois second and Donnarumma in 3rd place.Raya? lol the BBC having a laugh

Foden was a key factor in our successes not a bit part. Hence why the statistics have been provided.Scott Carson has won more medals than the Arsenal squad but he ain't better than Raya. Anyway by calling him the City Saka I meant went from being the best player to poor and that is undeniable. They play in different positions so the comparison was meant on fall from grace perspective only. Hope he rediscovers his form but that's yet to be seen, same with Saka.
So the Spanish back up keeper is the worlds best.lol.Just looked at the current voting and Raya is currently leading the poll, Courtois second and Donnarumma in 3rd place.
Ederson was Brazil's back up to Alisson but IMHO at his peak was better. Depends how a team wants to play out from the back.So the Spanish back up keeper is the worlds best.lol.
Thats how worthless these polls are.So the Spanish back up keeper is the worlds best.lol.
You couldn’t make it up lolSo the Spanish back up keeper is the worlds best.lol.
Who are you trying to convince? Yourself! This seems to be a consistent thing with City fans vs Rice. As a Gooner he and Raya are fundamental to any trophy chase for us. If either are out it's goodnight Vienna. He's destined to be one of those players that fans of the club appreciate but fans of other clubs don't see the true value of (I guess a bit like David Silva was for you - anyone with a brain could see he was an unbelievable player but for some reason he never got his flowers from other club supporters - not that I'm equating Rice and Silva just in case any City fans get the pitchforks out!).
The thing about Rice is he looks unspectacular, doesn't have the best 1st touch, isn't as incisive as (for example) a peak Rodri but he has an amazing engine, is positionally terrific and is generally fit and available to play. I'd say he's an 8/10 in all areas which is what we need.
If you put him in a more expansive team you'd see his value more I reckon. At Arsenal he's asked to provide a defensive shield over the back 4 which stymies him somewhat.
It’s not just David Silva who doesn’t get any credit, add every City great. Aguero, Bernardo, KDB, Bernardo, Yaya, Ederson, Foden, you could go on forever. You’d never guess that we’ve achieved things that have never been done before and probably never will be again.
Plodder has achieved practically nothing but run about a lot and take corners. Pretty poor return for over £100m.
Rice is 27, his peak years. This is as good as he'll ever be. Once a plodder, always a plodder. £100m for someone to take corners! Rice is a solid player and every team needs one like him but you wouldn’t say he was better than peak Gareth Barry or James Milner.Rice is 27, his peak years. This is as good as he'll ever be. Once a plodder, always a plodder. £100m for someone to take corners! What has football become?
Yep. There are a ton of Rags who have big trophy counts because they were in a team that were serial winners. A lot of them wouldn't get into current teams. I'm sure Phil the Face has a lot of trophiesScott Carson has won more medals than the Arsenal squad but he ain't better than Raya. Shearer won less medals than Andy Cole but was miles better. But Phil Foden has been a stand out player not an extra.Yep. There are a ton of Rags who have big trophy counts because they were in a team that were serial winners. A lot of them wouldn't get into current teams. I'm sure Phil the Face has a lot of trophies
Stand out in a stand out team. Not so much when we've struggled. But Phil Foden has been a stand out player not an extra.
Uh Oh. We're at the constant arm waving to the fans stage.
This is what so many people choose to ignore. Once Rices legs go what is left for him to offer other than a half decent corner kick?Rice is 27, his peak years. This is as good as he'll ever be. Once a plodder, always a plodder. £100m for someone to take corners! What has football become?
It's a horrible growing trend with insufferable footballers who have by and large never lived and breathed supporting a club.Uh Oh. We're at the constant arm waving to the fans stage.
Far from his peak last season, let’s not forget Ederson had 4 assists. That’s only 4 fewer than Arsenal’s most creative player, Odegaard had that season. There is no way on this earth that Raya would have been ahead of peak Ederson, as he was during the Treble season.
