Your last post rates alongside Plodder being better than Yaya in it's stupidity.

Scott Carson has won more medals than the Arsenal squad but he ain't better than Raya. Shearer won less medals than Andy Cole but was miles better. Matt Le Tissier won zero medals but a peak version would walk into any current PL side. Medals alone aren't the measure of a player else ratboy Neville is the greatest defender in the history of English football.

Anyway by calling him the City Saka I meant went from being the best player to poor and that is undeniable. They play in different positions so the comparison was meant on fall from grace perspective only. Hope he rediscovers his form but that's yet to be seen, same with Saka.

Foden was a key factor in our successes not a bit part. Hence why the statistics have been provided.
Saka has been a major part of a team that has won the square root of fuck all.

City paid £4.2 million for Gelson Fernandes who gave the same amount of match impact as Rice ……

Rice is a solid player and every team needs one like him but you wouldn’t say he was better than peak Gareth Barry or James Milner.

Yep. There are a ton of Rags who have big trophy counts because they were in a team that were serial winners. A lot of them wouldn't get into current teams. I'm sure Phil the Face has a lot of trophies

This is what so many people choose to ignore. Once Rices legs go what is left for him to offer other than a half decent corner kick?

Look at the drop off casimiro (in his prime a far superior player) has had the last few years. And Rice has played his whole career in the most intense physical league in the world. He’ll be done by 30 years of age
