Could be worse mateThe modding has gone to shit in the last few months. And I can't figure out why that's happened.
IMO it’s definitely motivated by race and jealousy.whilst i agree with much of what you say i think it was more the depth of Mansours pockets than the colour of his skin that motivated them. not saying skin colour had nothing to do with it but if he was skint they wouldn't have cared.
Spot on but millions believed the garbage given to them on a daily basis including how billions could be saved and spent on the nhs. They swung the vote. In reality the man in the street is ignorant of many things and to ask their opinions on important matters is nonsensical. No deal would have been better than being in a common, single market with all the huge benefits (there is a reason UK boomed economically once joined) there were for UK business.
As a small nation we have zero influence compared to bigger Markets such as US, China, EU, India so any trade deals are more beneficial for them. Thats whats happened.
Immigration also impacted. Where European Nationals could work and live here and vice versa (which made it much easier for business for many reasons) now they can’t. There is zero need for EU to manage UK borders, its easier for them to allow the exit to UK of global migrants which they did not before.
All of this was known prior to the referendum. Anyone saying exiting the EU was better for business was ignorant or lying for other reasons.
Most people making those journeys have already crossed multiple borders and seas before they ever get near the Channel. That said many do settle in the first country they arrive in, Turkey alone hosts around 4 million refugees and statistics show that around 70% stay in neighbouring countries The UK receives less than 1% of the total.Totally agree,if you were escaping a war torn country,or abuse, would you not be happy and relieved to land into the first safe country you arrive in,and not trek accross Europe, risk your life travelling 12 miles accross a sea in a little dinghy? Just saying .
When people started to wonder exactly how barmy the average politician actually isWhen did the barm/muffin thread morph into the politics thread?
You missed out Nico.
I recently changed my son’s name to Nico after O’Reilly pocketed Arsenal and Liverpool’s entire midfield.
No he’s 5.Isn't your son 28 years old?
Maybe one club could be allowed to have owners like the Glazers?Great rant. The only thing I'd take issue with is the bit about not needing financial controls. I'd argue we do, to protect clubs against owners like the Glazers and others. Clubs need to be financially sustainable and there needs to be some control over owners who just take money out or need to pump money in continually to keep clubs afloat.
The problem is that FFP, CSR and SCR are too facile and don't really address the issue.
Always liked youIt’s a barm.
Not interesting to me, it would be disastrous for the clubI obviously don't want us to get sent down but I'd be lying if I said the idea of Pep storming through the Championship with a glorified youth team wasn't interesting.
Absolute fucking silence from the Daily Mail/Reform clowns. Most people making those journeys have already crossed multiple borders and seas before they ever get near the Channel. And if you still work either part or full time you start paying tax once you've earned£700 per year.Pensioners pay tax on everything they receive over the £12,500 threshold, the same as everyone else. They also pay all the VAT, most of the fuel taxes, road taxes, flight taxes, alcohol taxes….just like everyone else.
Did you really? I was only joking about him being 28, because that would be fucking hilarious. No he’s 5.
He was a bit confused by it all but it’ll be worth it for him when he’s older and named after England’s greatest ever left back - midfield hybrid.
Who the fuck did midfield hybrid play for?No he’s 5.

Can imagine my dad phoning be to tell me he's changed my name to Pablo and I'll need a new passport.
Here is an idea why not stay and try and make the country which basically made them better
All of them have been educated here no doubt, free health care etc
But no they fuck off because of money even though by the sounds of it they are all still doing ok
The US is the last place anyone with any sense would go toYou say that, but honestly how would you feel being taxed to the tune of around 70k a year here because of the non-dom rule, when you could up and leave and pay about 35k a year tax in the US instead?
