Seat Counters 25/26

Right I'm back from my meeting, lets have a look. For a start, there's 11 blocks not showing compared with 8 last year, as well as half of Level 2. This is about 9,000 in total.

L1: 9,416
L2: 874
L5: 7,508

Total Left: 17,798 (+ 9,000)

Cross comparing with last years semi final, this is a slightly slower start, which makes sense as they've only been on sale a couple of hours rather than a full day.

Based on this, my early projection is that we could be looking at around the 25,000 mark.
Reassuring. Looking at getting 3 tomorrow then 1 from A N Other, sounds good.

I've asked quite a few blues who went to the Caraboa final and hardly any of them are bothering with the semi. Most of them are absolutely convinced we're goimg to make the final, must be collective amnesia eg Wigan, Palace, rags etc. Could be a real struggle this one. Once the criteria is set I assume the club have to stick to it, but it may need '3 additional (4 Total)' to shift these. Could be a great chance for family groups to have a day out ?. I thought the same re the boycotted community shield but it sold. My guess is around 30K.
That is some expensive family day out!

About 2,000 sold that window. 4pm will be a much larger window.

Still looking similar, if not slightly slower than the forest Semi, so I'm still saying 25,000.

25,000 would be exceptional.

so as it stands we have sold 9000 to season ticket holders and supporters clubs, that is pitiful

I think it all depends on how many are holding back until tomorrow to buy extras. Did last year's criteria state at the outset that people would be able to buy extra tickets at some point or did they throw that in during the sales process? If it was the latter then it might've been too late for fans to make plans whereas this time round fans know from the start that they will be able to buy extra tickets

Also, I wouldn't underestimate how many will be snapped up by members. I'm still expecting us to sell more than we did for the Forest game even if the early data doesn't necessarily back that up

Last year they didn't even release Matchday Member Criteria to begin with, I'm not sure where their optimism came from. So yes you might be right, there could be more people hanging on to buy extras than usual.

So about 11,000 sold in the Members window last year, I'd expect similar at 4pm.

We sold more for our last Community Shield which admittedly was one for the tourists.
