No, some have become complacent but when/ if it comes to an end they may look back with regret at not enjoying every moment
273 left as of nowEverton update? 1pm for me tomorrow.
Thanks for the adviceCity mean deleting from your friends and family then readding, not deleting his actual City account. Do what someone else has said. Download the season ticket onto your phone and scan your mate in, or let your mate log in your sons account and download season ticket and scan in. Is your mate a paid cityzen member?
How much you paying for those tickets if your buying off the exchange? If its not season ticket price then your paying double every game he didn't go
If a supporter is on a cup scheme and chooses not to go, what happens, do you just take the financial hit, or is it like league games where you can allocate it back to the club and you get some money back to cover your direct debit, or re-allocate it to someone on your friends & family list? Not going semi. My lad is ok about it but a,little gutted. We've got Everton away so that's made up for it.
Hard choice as I have probably missed 2 out of the 30 odd is it??
I will be at the final but as a cup scheme member will probably get 1st choice.
I actually agree that people maybe should be awarded for going to this one but the club will just alienate a lot of cup scheme members.
Will be at the final if we get there.
Where would you see members who are on the scheme fitting into that?If we make the final: the criteria should be:
- ST Holders On The Scheme
- ST Holders who attended semi final
- Members who attended semi final
- ST Holders
- Members
I disagree, Rags, dippers, spuds and arse probably wud.Why do we do this to ourselves every season. We big up the rags and dippers saying they’ve got huge support and we haven't, that they'd fill the place 5 times over.
No club, absolutely no club would sell this out if theyd been 30 times in 16? Years. No disrespect to Southampton but it's Southampton. Its likely to be 3 trips to Wembley this season alone. We have been to the shithole so many times before it's not new, fun, a one off, anything except yet another semi final at an over priced shithole.
If the rags and dips had been half as many times as us they'd struggle to sell this out.
Agree, remember queueing for hours ,first at Maine Road for Gillingham and for the Rags in 2011 around the inside of the Ethiad. The novelty and interest was off the scale, thirty times later the enthusiam trailing to and getting home from Wembley is understandably diminished. Why do we do this to ourselves every season. I think Utd will always be the bigger fanbase here (I'm M19).I’d say the majority of the young kids growing up in Manchester are blues nowadays, just walking about or seeing the shirts at youth football games etc. The local fanbase has definitely grown
The problem is how the club has been almost openly hostile to local support post lockdown with pricing and ticketing policies.
You can have all the local support you want, the problem is getting them in the ground affordably
As well as a “Priced Out” thread, we might need an “On Foreign Holidays” thread.!don't we have a thread that is about City shirts everywhere? and yet we are going to wembley chasing a treble with a following that a league 1 side would easily take
Exact same as ST Holders not on the scheme.Where would you see members who are on the scheme fitting into that?
He should probably get that looked at.Just to be clear I give zero fucks how many Southampton bandwagon jumpers get a ticket or how many City sell .I won't be going as I am in Majorca, looking forward to some sunshine as the FA didn't tell me last may the dates for the semifinal and septic peg didn't tell me city would be playing in it :)
Good point. I will be there and looking forward to it with 20 plus thousand blues !I wonder how many City fans that went to Wembley in 1981, never saw City play there again in the FA or League Cups? You never know which will be your last one
Good point. I will be there and looking forward to it with 20 plus thousand blues !AL
