Because they've spent the last few years treating their core support like shit. People would be shocked if they knew the true number of loyal blues who've stopped going over the last 5 years.
You can't turn all your loyal fans away and then expect Wembley to be filled 3 times within 2 months.
amazed at how few we have sold, i thought our broader fanbase would have picked up the slack and also being on a saturday would have helped. No idea why the cheaper tickets are being held back though, they should all be on sale
Not as rare as you might think. Southampton are in the top ten when it comes to most appearances at the new Wembley. This will be their sixth visit, more than quite a few ‘bigger’ clubs. To be expected it's rare for them to play at Wembley.
Very few of us can do every match home and away. You have to pick your matches. I always do Wembley for some sort of OCD reason as I like ticking off the visits since 1970! It doesn't make me a better fan in any way. Everyone has different choices in life and that's as it should be.Agree pal
Massive respect to everyone who goes to the semi. It has been hard sitting on my hands and not purchasing.
You’re so negative about our fans. Nobody has the strain we have getting to Wembley, even more so as we’re a predominantly northern fanbase without a mass of plastics in the capital that our other rivals in the north west have.Fantastic effort, full credit to them, I think we should give them some of our blocks as our fans not interested

1715 kick off doesn't helpamazed at how few we have sold, i thought our broader fanbase would have picked up the slack and also being on a saturday would have helped. No idea why the cheaper tickets are being held back though, they should all be on sale

They have played there 3 times in 10 years at Wembley, we’re doing that this season alone.
Maybe people are holding off as they can only afford one more trip and are confident of us getting to the final?
I’m sure if you offer to pay for a ticket for someone they’ll be interested, why don’t you?
You do seem to like coming on this thread to have a go at Blues.Fantastic effort, full credit to them, I think we should give them some of our blocks as our fans not interested
Obviously I don't have access to the exact data, but every bit of anecdotal evidence shows that people have been leaving in droves. What is the exact number of loyal blues who have stopped going over the last 5 years ?
In what way have we been treated like shit? The last 10 years or so are some of the best I have of watching City for decades. My ST is not the most expensive in the league. Please give me a clue on what upsets you so much.Because they've spent the last few years treating their core support like shit. People would be shocked if they knew the true number of loyal blues who've stopped going over the last 5 years.

Its a good exercise to do but it comes from the position of wanting to retain your fan base.Obviously I don't have access to the exact data, but every bit of anecdotal evidence shows that people have been leaving in droves.
- Matches not selling as well as a few years ago
- Everyone knows someone who's stopped going, but no one seems to know anyone who's started going
- 10 years ago I was surrounded by Season Ticket Holders, now there's only the couple next to me left.
A good exercise for the club to do would be to look at how many Supporter Numbers attended 5 or more games in the 2022/23 season, that haven't attended a single game this season.
What are this regime doing to you as a City fan?Its a good exercise to do but it comes from the position of wanting to retain your fan base.
Unfortunately actions by the club speak louder than words, Ive been a season ticket holder for 45 years and only 2 things make me stop making this my final season, my 2 lads and the fact City wouldnt not give a shit if I did.
Im determined to outlive this current regime, 35 years of absolute shite football did not get rid of me and they can continue to treat me badly but I wont leave now.
Apathetic or can’t afford to get to Wembley 3 times in 8 weeks or possibly have families where they can’t be constantly away all weekend following City?i am negative because i have seen how apathetic so many are
Yet Saints fans couldn't be arsed turning up for the league cup quartet final at St Marys, 3 seasons agoYou do seem to like coming on this thread to have a go at Blues.
Why is it a fantastic effort by them?
How many times in 16 years have they been to Wembley?
Plus, I think the travel time is also slightly less than ours........ by about 3 hours.
It's looking more like 22k25-28k which is what I think we'll end up taking is a great result considering all the blocks put in our way and the travelling.
If this was our first semi in years even against Soton we'd have been able to fill the place on our own near enough.
