Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

Questions have to be asked at this point. Is the man ok?

I might go into our office on Monday and set my bin on fire. Tell my manager that I’m simply trying to motivate the team. Sure it’ll be ok.
Fuck me. Do it.

Please post the results on here. A new thread would be excellent.

Watching grass grow is more interesting than watching cheating Arsenal!
I honestly think if we win the league this year it will be the most satisfying one since 9320.
Beating the dippers was brilliant and they're fans are absolute cunts.
But these twats with the wank north london forever..arteta just been a prick.
And this not been the best city side.
Could be amazing.
One of peps best achievements and possibly the start of another era of pep domination

Can only imagine what the next stage of anti-football that Arteta could add if he doesn’t win this season.

Maybe if they score first, he’ll have fans dotted all over with flares to chuck on the pitch every couple of minutes to destroy the game even more?

Does anyone listen to The Screen Rot podcast? I absolutely love it, except for when Jacob Hawley (a massive Arsenal fan) talks about our club in any way. He can't hide his bitter venom. On the latest episode of The Rot Bar he said The Athletic cancelling their podcast about us half way through the treble season 'Says it all about our shithole soulless club'. What on earth does he mean by that - what could that possibly mean and how - pray tell - does us having a 'smaller fanbase' than other 'big six' clubs make us soulless?

Is he right about this anyway? Why was The Athletics podcast cancelled?

ANyway just had to vent. I usually like that podcast but I'm sick of Hawley's bileful slander.
I love that podcast but whenever he talks about City I hate him. He's so bitter

As long as we treat Sunday's game with due caution and professionalism, we should be too much for them. My only worry is that we have a history of not turning up in big games, and I think that is what Lego is hoping for: that we run out believing all we have to do is turn up and the three points are ours.

The last thing we want on Sunday is another 'typical City' moment.
We have been generally very good in big games this season except when we had a kid on Central defence. Arsenal have been generally terrible

Don’t want to jinx it on stats, the last time City has lost at home in a league game was Spurs all the way back in August 2025. Arsenal’s last win at the Etihad was way back in January 2015.

2-0 Arsenal cup final
4-0 dippers FA cup 1/4
0-3 away to Chelsea

Is this turning up for big games & its the draws against Forest & West Ham where we havent defended well enough

Feel exactly the same.

Think he’s hilarious but when he talks City I absolutely hate him.

Apparently when they were in Manchester for the live tour they referred to the audience as United fans and didn’t even mention City- like we didn’t exist.

Honestly he’s one of the most bitter Arsenal fans I’ve ever seen!

He’ll be under huge pressure to be relieved of his duties from a very large section of their fanbase

TBF if the PL want an exciting finish to season for 'The Product" the worst thing to be is biased in favour of Arsenal.
What if the PLs idea of an exciting finish to the season is us not winning it though.

Either way, it will be fantastic if we play well enough to counter any dubious reffing and win all our remaining games.

Then after the season is over they have to announce that weve fcked em over the 115 too.

Just imagine the piss boiling, especially the tarquins lol.

The myth that Arsenal have been this dominant force until the end of the season jitters…..

We’ve gained 1 point in the last 6 games…..

We lost 2 of our first 3 games, that’s the dominant period.

The only reason they have even been in a title race is our lack of a preseason, rebuilding & inconsistent results throughout.

Fucking frauds!

I’m not sure they’d sack him even if that happened tbh. Not many viable replacements out there, and they’ve undoubtedly improved hugely under him.
Agree.

Before Lego Head took over they were an absolute shit show, a team that constantly got bullied and battered most weeks.

They've now made themselves tough to beat and finishing high up the table on numerous occasions, although they haven't got over the line yet they've still made huge strides considering how they performed before Arteta.

Maybe he isn't the man to take them to that level, but it's a dangerous game to sack him as the replacement could well bring them back to finishing 4th or 5th every season.
