Dip into the squad, Pep.

Donnarumma
Nunes Khusanov Ake Ait-Nouri
Gonzalez Bernardo
Doku Cherki Marmoush
Haaland

Something like that.

I'd rather wait until the semi final to rotate more .

Not to underestimate Southampton, they taught Arsenal a lesson for that, but I'd feel more confident rotating a bit more against them than at a midweek league game in Burnley.

Get the 3 points with a strong team and then have a look at who needs rotating for the semi

I've no intention of going. but just been on the Burnley website, idle curiosity.
Appears there are a few tickets available, obviously in the home end!

Vital that we follow up yesterday with victory, and I think we will.
Same team - Nico G for Rodri.
We just have to assess the recovery because I imagine yesterday was mentally taxing for many, though the result will have sent strength through veins.
I did not imagine we could be in this place this year. Next year, yes, but not this with so much change and so much youth. Credit to Viana's recruitment and his backroom staff, and to the coaches.

There is one player I would leave on the bench (not that I really want it to happen) - but that would be Bernado. We don't want him to get booked in this game as he will be crucial against Southampton who are on a long winning streak. Disrespect the Saints at our peril.

If we rotate, it should be Ait Nouri for NOR, Nico G for Rodri, Savinho for Semenyo and perhaps Marmoush for Doku. Everyone else plays.

Great feeling today. Love how we are in a spot no one, including me, ever thought we'd be. But, this is about business. We go for the win. Burnley are gonna go down and would love to wreck our mood. Focus is key. Let's not talk about goal differential until we are in a position during the match where its safe to talk about it.
On your last point, I always think of Liverpool fucking-up at Crystal Palace 3-0 up and going for goal difference !

Maybe glad this game is away and might be a bit more open. They just lost 4-1 to forest so if we can't beat them then dont deserve the league. We need to take the chances when they come.

Imo keep the same team as much as possible next 2 games and then take players off to rest them They've just had a week off. Can't under-estimate Southampton who have won something like 18 in a row, need as strong team as possible

The last time we played on their home turf, back in 2023.
Boys, let's just repeat that same result.

I see 8 changes in the lineup compared to that match

I think we need a 2-0 win (or more) at Burnley to go top, don't we ?

And even then Arsenal will probably beat Newcastle next Saturday tea time, whilst we're on FA Cup duty.
No we need a one nil win to go top (more goals scored than the tarquins) and don’t take it as read that arsenal beat newcastle, they are nervy as fuck at home and they have a dodgy as fuck crowd, and Newcastle are better than their league position, will be playing for Howe’s job, and have their best player back
