Media discussion - 2025/26

Rooney doesn't disguise his enmity for City. I don't mind that. He's honest. Carragher is the same.

What would bother me more is if a pundit downgraded our players and performances. I don't think the MOTD, and Sky pundits do that. What the media is guilty of is over-hyping Man Utd & Liverpool, relative to City, but that is done at an organisational or editorial level. Where for example is the analysis of Cherki's form? He's treated like just another player but he isn't.

Yet this is the same **** who was prepared to join us, until the boys in black rocked up outside his house, so shit himself

It’ll be sad if she is. We need characters like that, women going around spitting Jack Daniels down people’s throats.
It wasn't all bad. She was receptionist at work. She used to bring me in lasagne sometimes as I was skint at the time.

I can't stop thinking about how it would feel if I met her now in an old people's home or whatever. And the fact that I used to happily call Wayne Rooney Granny Shagger and it never entered my head.

Best lasagne I ever had to be fair though.

Wasn't it more of a case of his agent Paul Stretford threatening the rags with him leaving them to join us and making them smash their wage structure by giving him a new contract of £300,000 a week rather than the MIBS( MIBS? fucking lol) going to his house?

This is exactly what this paranoid-fuelled thread needs. It’s needed it for some time. Bravo sir!

Possibly, but I was told he wanted to join City to win a few more trophies before end of his career, but obviously to better his wage than he was on at rags.

I suppose it's a case of we will never know, and I'm glad he didn't come, just like that twat Ronaldo.

But for him to come out with that line what he said Sunday is laughable, and unprofessional, him being honest or not, should keep his big fucking scouse trap firmly shut.

He needs to remember at the end of the day he's a scouser not a manc, no matter that he played for them.

Well that's the first time I have heard it called that! ;)

We also live rent free in his head about 93:20 where he claims the QPR players gave up. An absolute myth which I debunked a few months ago

Is beef lasagne a euphemism?

Not sure he has the intelligence to recognise your last point,

Oh he hates us, but why so much is the question, fuck him anyway the fucking erm, erm, erm ****

Here's my post I put on Reddit and on here when the fat **** was moaning about it on the overlap

"Except that's absolute bollocks. Dean said The QPR players knew they were safe after Dzeko scored as Jamie Mackie was celebrating but the full time whistle haven't gone at the Bolton game so that's a lie.

Rooney needs to be called out for this conspiracy theory bollocks that QPR let City win. He's even admitted he's never watched the game either. We were dreadful that day as the nerves and occasion got to us but you have to give credit to QPR who were outstanding and defended like tigers. And they played even better when Barton was sent off.

The exact moment QPR knew they were safe was when Nasri let the ball go out of play thinking it was a throw in to us. Lescott wins the ball back and you can clearly see the QPR fans start to celebrate.Mackie sees this and starts waving his hands. 15 seconds later Aguero scores. Most of the QPR players look devastated especially Clint Hill so I doubt most of them would of known they were safe.

If Rooney is into conspiracy theories how about a few weeks before when utd played QPR and Bolton born Lee Mason was the ref. QPR were in a relegation battle with Bolton and Mason sent off Shaun Derry for an nothing tackle. Or how about them playing Sunderland on the final day who had nothing to play for and they just rolled over. Now they are some conspiracy theories!!"

Whose idea was it to put an Henry VIII lookalike up as the face of football media in this country?
It's a total car crash.
I don't like Van Dyke but loved the way he give it Rooney earlier on in the season.
More players should follow suit and call out the fucking buffoon
That’s insulting to buffoons…….

Rooney isn't really worth the debate imo, but the fact that the BBC is wasting public funds on employing the thick **** is far more serious and so wrong!

I'll tell you why he hates us so much it's because the fat arsewipe along with the rest of the insignificant ex players think it makes them look good in the minds of the deluded fanbases.
Just look how they still idolise cuntana who openly pocketed money meant for the families of the Munich disaster, fuckin disease ridden shower of shite the lot of them.
