And the proof is there ..........how many players has he brought in and improved ??????
Loads and folk think he wouldnt do the same for the likes of Rice and Saka ?????
It’s interesting as I remember in the All or Nothing series we did, Arteta was praised for teaching Raheem how to time his runs to the back post and score tap ins.

This means Arteta can improve players, but doesn’t seem to have developed the ability to show how players need to receive the ball on the half turns and how the passes need to be to the correct foot to enable quick progression.

Honestly, if I was Arteta I'd be annoyed at the this Arsenal got some sort of 'psychological victory' shit. I'd want a media pile on to get that seige mentality going. This patronising praise from the pundits is more likely to result in players resting on their laurels.

As much as we think we get a rough deal from the media, I think the impossibly high standards we're held to helps us achieve impossibly high standards.

I can't belive they've started moaning about injuries again too. We've heard constantly about their squad depth. Masquera and White is hardly dipping into their academy. Saka has been run into the ground and has been wank this year anyway, so not a huge miss. I'll give them Merino, I actually rate him and think he is their best midfielder, better than that fucking Cart-horse d'or.
Spot on.

The media in this country just don't get reverse-psychology.

Hmm have to disagree

None of their players are in the same tier of class as Haaland, Rodri, Donnarumma & Bernardo
Bollox, haalands a tap in merchant Rodri’s a crock, Donna can’t play out from the back and is levels below the best keeper in the world and rice is better than silva.

Doubt it very much. There's no way they'd be able to adapt to a Pep system.
Horses for courses.
Sure. Some of the Arsenal team have won the Euros with Spain and got to the World Cup final with France but will struggle to play in a Pep side when players like Savinho, Doku, Semenyo, Guehi and Gonzales do......

Pretty sure many of the Gunners players would be better under Pep than they would be under Arteta.

Starters for those Spain & France teams were they?

Rice isn’t good enough to play for a top top side
Rice is massively over ratted.
When you watch rodri in the middle of the pitch.
He can put a foot in and win the ball.he can effortlessly go forward with the ball and set up the play.
He's not the same as he was before his injury but he's miles above rice.
Go back a few years yaya in the middle wasn't even on the same page as rice
Rodri scored the goal that won the champions League he will be immortal for that.
Rice won't ever play in the final never mind win it

Emphasis on the physical rather than technical side of the game in the current arsenal side would hinder pep.

Pep would turn him into a world class player

He'd have a job to address the glaring weakness in his game. He was bought as a 6 and Arteta for all his faults, is good enough to coach him into playing that role better. He just isn't comfortable with his back to goal and goes hiding. I'm not sure Pep could have improved that element of his game. Because he's limited in his threat in the final third he really needs to develop it to become a world class 6, because he can't be a world class 8 just by running around a lot.
