TV Series

It's a real head fuck at the end and does some strange stupidity in the last 2 episodes. Typically setting up for another series but I thought the conclusion of the series was odd. Talk about overloading with curveballs! On a separate note, was a few seats away from Holliday Grainger and her family on a train the other day.
Was she crying?

Capture s3. Close to being really good but just the usual rabbit holes and extremely stupid plots let it down. Still enjoyed it to a point but never really hit the heights I hoped.
I thought it was dreadfully contrived.
Not a patch on series 1.

Okay, that's fair, but what do you know about anyone, really? Usually there's 2 to 3 core characters we know something about. Here? Nothing.

So, as I was thinking about this the other day, but didn't post, is that supposed to be the design? As we walk into a hospital, the staff are just buzzing about and we don't know who they are.

If that's the case, why does the show reveal any snippet of the characters lives at all?

I just think it doesn't know what it wants to be.
It does though. Quite a lot. All in the context of their working day but their characters are revealed.

I'll agree to disagree.

For me, if you reveal a snippet, I get curious as to what drives them in the direction they're going.

That said, I'm like that in my job where I have to observe/ read the unsaid and without that aspect, I fail people, so I kind of want to understand.

Guess it seeps into my viewing content about the writer's motives for the character.

Can't help it.

I am currently watching the murder line on ITV, I beg of you all not to make the same mistake, I knew within 10 mins it would be utterly shite.

One more episode to go.

A doctor ? #SickNote ?

Really looking forward To this .
yep cant wait, although I will wait until all 10 eps. are available because it was painful last time at 1 per week.

Really enjoying the last season of Hacks. Going to be genuinely gutted when it’s over.

There are so many great characters in it. Mayor Jo steals every scene she’s in and Jean Smart is a phenomenal actress
