Media discussion - 2025/26

After we beat Newcastle away in the FA Cup, Simon Jordan said on Talksport that Pep was over celebrating the win in a "look at me" way, as he knew that he was probably heading for a second season in a row without a trophy as this City side were that average.

Now he's the latest to throw out the - Man City have hit the top of the table with the most expensive team and having spent the most - narrative.
It's almost as if Jordan has been out for lunch with Daniel Levy or Rick Parry again recently. Like all bluffers he is easily influenced by those around him. He likes to think of himself as some sort of maverick. In fact he is well and truly one of the sheep.

The stats I quoted, were from half time last night (BBC Sport), I'd took a screehot after Champion came out with his bollocks.

His sidekick for the night, Dixon, was worse. Willing a Burnley goal, at every opportunity. He seems to hate City, with every passing week. Strange behaviour, from a supposed City fan in his youth.
Nice one lefty. Hope you don’t think I meant you. Champion tosser was my target !!

I'm just so elated that our players and Manager are making the end of the season a good one!

Don't forget, it wasn't long ago they were celebrating in the streets of Holloway and Finsbury Park (Woolwich too)! They were 9 or 10 points clear, and the media fawning over them!

Feels great tonight!
Is the correct answer

Football Focus to end after 52 years - nobody watches anymore and nothing at all to do with its "absolutely brilliant" presenter Alex Scott. Maybe I'm alone in being unable to listen to her piercing estuarine robotic script recitals for more than 5 seconds then....

Not a coincidence they ruined A Question of Sport too with a wooden presenter.
