Noel Gallagher and City.

Yes and no.
Op was being disingenuous with what Noel said.
He was talking about the fact that his kids grew up in London that they will probably support Arsenal cos they were local and because of influences at school.
He was fine with them choosing a local team but obviously would have liked them to support City.

They may have supported a local team when they were younger, but are blue now.

Which isn't an odd thing my mate and his brothers are Palace fans but grew up in the north west, his brothers supported other teams when they were younger before changing to their dads club when they were older.

Which bit mate? Every single bit is true hahaha

It's funny watching people absolutely wet themselves to defend someone who doesn't give a fuck about them.

Just to confirm, I have Liam and Noel tattooed on me with their city shirts on. I'm just stating facts

Read the original post. Noel didn't say, "my kids support Arsenal" he said "my kids WILL support Arsenal." I don't even think they were born at the time.

What about the video of him on Soccer AM years ago saying his kids will support Arsenal and not City....

The guy only remembers he's a City fan at the business end of the season.

Liam is the one
You have no control over who your kids support, I have 4 kids 2 support city and 2 Utd. If I lived in London most probably one would support a London team because of their mates

I have two kids and I was in full control of who they support.

This wasn't Noel saying, "my kids support Arsenal..." It was him saying, "my kids WILL support Arsenal"

Maybe it’s jealousy, maybe it’s downright stupidity I’m not really sure, but whenever there’s a thread about proper dyed in the wool blues Noel and Liam, one or two daftys always pipe up with their silly little imaginary grievances
Good use of the word "Daftys" :-)

Weird thread. Folk shitting on one of our own. Hats off to him. Noel carries himself pretty well around the world. Must annoy people. Bizarre.

People will always be jealous and look to take people down where they are successful, even if it’s a forum where there’s no chance they will see it or anyone will pay any attention.

People questioning if he’s a proper blue is mind blowing. One of the biggest names in music in the world and shows up in the away end at all sorts of games stood with the rest of us. Pretty sure if he wasn’t a real fan he wouldn’t waste his time.

Thought the snap of the Gallagher tribe in the first half (with early 90s hair cuts) was hilarious. Liam was gobbing off and giving it shit behind Noel who looked bored of his antics! Quite a cool moment for Noel and Liam.

Clearly a bullshit story haha

Noel has always been a blue and plenty of people can vouch for him being there before he was famous.

Love some of the nonsense on here: "you never see him at all the games" - Like he works 9-5 with all weekend free. He's a touring musician that even missed the champions league final because of tour commitments.
Where the fuck have I said he’s not a blue and he wasn’t going to games before he was famous?

You do realise that this so-called “bullshit story” is from a well known poster on here who has been on this forum a lot longer than you have? And he’s not the only one who can vouch for Noel supporting Celtic as well as City in his younger days.

Personally, I know what I believe. And anyone coming out with that line ahead of what was, at the time, our biggest FA Cup game for 5 years - a game that any blue worth their salt was absolutely bang up for - is a bit of a twat to be honest.

If you read it on here it must be true, eh?

He’s the most high profile blue in the world and a great ambassador for the club around the world. What he did or didn’t do in 1993 or whether he flew back from Argentina in 2006 for the home game against Sunderland or not really doesn’t change anything.
Like I said mate, it’s from a well respected poster on here - someone as well respected as you even!

And him being the most high profile blue in the world doesn’t preclude him from being a bellend ;)
