He is a winger if anything. Used to get taught at 10 years old that as a striker, do not take more than 3 touches, and try to limit it to 2. He was taking so many touches every time he broke the line.

Nothing came off for him but I’d have been more concerned if he had been nowhere to be found. None of the recently sidelined players looked that good until those who have been playing more were introduced.

The problem is we all know what he can't do as a player. But today we tried to play to his strengths, plenty of good balls in behind and when he wasn't offside, he made nothing of them. And with his pace, there's no excuse for not getting on the end of those balls across goal.
