Noel Gallagher and City.

While accepting his tour commitments surly he would have known tour engagements before the champions league final wherever city made it or not .

He could of prepared for any eventuality.

Maybe he seen pound Signs before his eyes.

This isn’t criticism of Noel I said elsewhere admire him for being a city fan
Yeah dead easy to not be in that position.....have you not noticed the amount of times the co-op has a gig on when we're at home?

Tour dates will have been out in place a long time before the season even started....What's he going to do? Fuck off thousands of Argentinian music fans or whichever country he was playing in so he could get a 'freebie' for the final.

I'd imagine he was fucking gutted missing the game.

There wealth and fame

Yep must admit my thinking cap wasn’t on .

I’ve said I Admire Noel has a city fan
And my post doesn’t Change that ,

City though and though the Galliger brothers plus a main fact in my position in life there Working Class Lads who haven’t forgotten where they came from .

Think he's a loutish prick personally and I can't stand the fact that we seem incapable of going a full City season without him being involved in some PR campaign or other. You'll always see him at Wembley, in the away ends for some London games on free tickets, or in his box on the final day of the season, but never anywhere else.

I'll never forget in 2016 when they were going to unveil the new City badge on the big screens and after a 10-second countdown the screen transitioned to him talking about the badge before they showed it. That summed it all up for me. City's media team seemingly can't do anything without his involvement or say-so, it's very sad.

Their peak was 30 years ago now. The fact that it's still only Noel Gallagher who's considered as shorthand for a "propoh Manc, propoh Citeh" fan is a condemnation of the retrograde cultural ideology Oasis ushered in during their heyday. Manchester must never look forward, it must only pay homage to the past, over and over again.
He was sat directly behind me away at Bristol in the cup a couple of years ago.

I’m not into all the PR bullshit the club does but I don’t like that with or without Noel.

He is a blue, albeit he leaned toward Celtic in his younger days and he speaks well in the media about our club which I don’t see as a bad thing.

I remember the Wembley playoff final and Liam banging on the glass when they played “Roll with it” In the nineties was the height of Oasis fame they travelled round the world, but still managed to get to some of our games.

Against Gillingham he was in his limo singing City till I die with us

Personally think it's great for the club that two of the biggest rocks stars in the world are City fans. Find it a bit odd when people question their loyalty. They're clearly both very passionate Blues. Good to see them both celebrating another Wembley victory yesterday.

What a strange take.
I don’t think we could have a better representation of a Manc city fan than Noel.
The guy seems down to earth for a multimillionaire and has a dry sense of humour. He was there through the lean times and knows his football. I love the way he gives it out to the red shirts and they have to take it. We could have Olly murs or Mick Hucknell mate :)

Paul Mcguigan (Guigsy of course) is also a proper and old school, very knowledgeable City fan

Exactly people around the world think Oasis and City.
Oasis are just as well known for their music as for being City fans.
How cool is it that Noel feels he can sit among us ?

How often do ofter clubs have the famous fans sat with them. When was the last time Zoe Ball, Hucknall, or many of the thousands of celebritie rags fans sat with there fellow fans ?
I cant think of any other club that has that connection with big 'stars' for want of a better word.

Who have spuds got ?
Who have Chelsea got ?
Who have Sunderland got ? Or Brighton? Or Newcastle ? (Ignore Ant n Dec) lol

Bollocks of a post. Noel has stuck with City for decades, speaks really well on behalf of us, stands in the away end when he could go in exec box, you sound jealous and bitter tbh, not for the first time

If their peak was 30 years ago then how impressive was it to sell millions of tickets on their sold out recent tour? As for slagging off a City fan for his continued loyalty, that flies in the face of the most enduring feature of our fan base, particularly in the dark decades, our fucking loyalty. Up the fucking Blues

Noel Gallagher is a sound guy where City is concerned and regularly defends our corner on radio, tv and social media. I have sat near him at European aways when we first got into European competition years ago. I have talked to him in hospitality at City and I can tell you he was shxxting himself, his words, at the QPR game. Last week at the Arsenal game he was ecstatic afer winning, my lad was in the room with him. I for one am glad he is a blue.
Liam on the other hand is an obnoxious bully and a dickhead. ;-)
He wasn’t at the QPR game. He was on tour in South America.

Clearly a bullshit story haha

Noel has always been a blue and plenty of people can vouch for him being there before he was famous.

Love some of the nonsense on here: "you never see him at all the games" - Like he works 9-5 with all weekend free. He's a touring musician that even missed the champions league final because of tour commitments.
He’s committed to one thing: £

You have no control over who your kids support, I have 4 kids 2 support city and 2 Utd. If I lived in London most probably one would support a London team because of their mates
Bollocks. Paternal lineage dictates: Your dad tells you: “we support xxxx in this house.” And that’s it. As a kid you get no say in the matter
