The Magic of the CupTM is somewhat diluted by repeat visits to the same stadium. Picture on BBC website of a Leeds Dad’n’Lad on Wembley way looking chuffed to bits, and we can all understand that. I work with a Blue who’s done Wembley loads of times (unlike me) and was in Istanbul (unlike me), and he sacked off yesterday because it was only the semi-final. We can all understand that too. The media mostly do, apparently, but they know they’ll get clicks and likes from Blue-baiters if they peddle the ‘plastic fansk line.

It's the prices once inside Wembley stadium that annoy me, they are bare-faced fleecing the very lifeblood of the game for every penny we have - it's a wonder that they haven't instructed the stewards to hang us upside down by the ankles and shake out all the money that's left.

Overheard this question which got me thinking.

When you see Sky Sports & Talksport panels watching the 3pm games live and giving updates & reactions, if i am right in saying they are both based in London so how are they able to watch the football?

Do they both have numerous dodgy firesticks from Barry down the Garderners Arms?

The '3pm blackout' rule prevents football matches from being shown on UK television between 14:45 and 17:15 on Saturdays”

The 3pm games arent on Sky or TNT so they wouldn’t be able to give permission
Mate. They’re the broadcasters. They have live feeds from every game. They’re just not allowed to broadcast it to the public.

33 times - so you're probably looking at £200 minimum for ticket, travel and food (and that's the cheapest ticket, car share, & a Co-op meal deal or two) - so making all those trips would set a City fan back around £6,600.
100%
Our OSC shared a bus with Morecambe yesterday normally both full every week but with onlh being there 4 weeks ago and hoping another one its not a wonder.
Plus trains kick off times awful
Min £150/200.

Abel Magwitch likes this post !!

Total cost yesterday train, ticket & food just over £200
I was the only One of Eight that normally travel.
All others were keeping their money in their pockets for a possible return trip in 3 weeks.

Meanwhile cunts in the media think it’s okay to poverty shame the working class!

Pretty sure we’ve slagged him off loads of times (for good reason…) but might as well try balance the thread a bit.

Well colour me ‘yellow’ and call me a Southampton fan.
I’m trying to remember Ducker’s output/history on City, and I’m at a bit of a loss to remember anything majorly positive.

Slightly odd that he was quoting a complete no-mark. Also odd to make the point about ‘33 times’ and our traditional fanbase, it would have been noteworthy at 20,25,30?

Very odd, imho, but welcome… on a similar note I was just staying in a hotel in Setubal (very nice place - never been before), and the room was signposted 110-115 and 116-130…

Just watched the ESPN butchering of City, and it is all Foden`s fault, it is Foden`s fault we only scored two, and his fault we conceded, and his fault Southampton beat Arsenal. We must get rid of him, because everybody wants to leave, if we plead guilty to the 115 we may even get a suspended sentence.
To be balanced Foden has become “ghostly” of his previous self on the pitch
