Yep, bad light stopped play so we declared, so I understand. Some rain forecast tomorrow afternoon, so is a draw most likely here, with some bonus points into the bargain?

Actually, I didn’t start it
It was a thread from 2021 that I bumped for this season and @cleavers cut all the old stuff out
But, yes, Lancs should have its own thread away from the general cricket thread

Exactly what I thought, I've rather lost interest in England, but still want to follow Lancs (despite the oft rubbish served up).

The more general thread is still there for other stuff by the way.

Two b2b home County championship games coming up in early/mid May which I’m really looking forward to. Do well there and we could be in a really strong position to seal the deal in September.

Lancashire declared as soon as Coughlin got his 100, him and Jimmy then walked straight off but it was already gloomy even with the lights on, so I wasn't surprised that they didn't come back out.

A pity because I think there was 8 overs left which would have been a good opportunity to take a wicket or two.

They are at times sadly, having got in a good position, they were 72-6 today at one point, currently relying too much on the odd great performance.

Well it seems to be heading towards a draw, unless these start having a swing of course, but we badly need a couple of wickets quick to keep them on the back foot ideally.

Batting wasn't great either bar a couple of scores. Same as last summer by the looks of things.

Apart from being well rewarded Jimmy should just say ' stuff this for a game of soldiers'. He's not being supported by LCC and the Club are going nowhere. As somebody of a certain age and looking back at the hardened players we used to have , Flat Jack etc this bunch are talentless
