I refuse going to semis at Wembley, not because I can't afford it, but the principle of making every event a London thing that only benefits those in London, we need to level up Football too, bring back northen semis.
the national stadium should have been built in the midlands like a lot of projects money is poured into the capital it's not going to change 1981 to 2011 was a long wait (yes I was there in 86 and 99)

I don't think they give a shit where it is, it could be on the moon for all they care. All they're concerned with is hosting it at a venue where they are in effect the hosts and thus get a bigger chunk of the gate receipts (and probably TV revenue).

Between the 22 March and 16th May we will have taken over 100,000 fans down to Wembley.

To put it another way - you could average that out at nearly 2,000 fans per day.

Most clubs don't take 2,000 fans to away games

I'm not sure where I am going here but it is like we have an away game, in London, every single day for 2 months and we take that amount of fans to each. (Plus we have had our normal away games and a trip to Madrid).

My weird logic in play here

When i looked at the photo for some reason I was expecting to see a young kid, not full grown adult. Hence my response. I was trying to be funny as I genuinely didnt think he was your sun. I apologise if I upset you.
It's fine bud, don't worry. I did say 'little boy' afterall.

He's in the services but has got to the level of part desk job now rather than crawling around helicopters.

I honestly don't care . If the biggest stick they can beat us with is a couple of empty blocks in a stadium 200 miles away for a SF that traditionally is played at a neutral ground then bring it on . Best SF I went to was in 1981 at the Holte End at Villa Park where another screamer , this time a free kick from Power , won us the game . The capacity of that terrace was 30 to 40 k , the biggest in Europe, and I think it was split down the middle between us and Ipswich?

There has been an average of over 12,000 empty seats at Sheffield Wednesday home games this season.
In there posistion are you suprised

As for the empty seats lark who fooking cares if other teams where getting there year after year the crowds whould do hevsame unless your a glory hunting club.

I know its on a difrerent level but we played Notts C in 1996 they only took 8k but when asked why the numbers where poor he told me that had been 4 times in the last 6 years so the novelty hsd simply wore off.

Btw the bigger issue is why a semi final is still being held at Wembley when there plenty of other decent ground to cope with it .............really does to a lot of shine and basically rip people of at the same time.

The crowd that day was 46,537; The Holte End held 31,000 at its peak.

The utd paid media are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down with their Bruno for POTY campaign.
It's like they're canvassing an MP for the election, no shame just full on bollocks.
There can't be many years someone wins it who plays for a club that hasn't been in with a realistic chance of winning a trophy all season. But maybe this is why there is one of the biggest media campaign pushes for a candidate ever seen, to mask the inadequacies of his club after another dud season.
I suppose you can only mask it for so long by writing about a 'new stadium' so why not throw everything you've got into a different approach to try and keep that club relevant whilst the title battle rages on.

It’s just noise.

If we win the PL, Bernardo will get this award, especially now he’s announced he’s leaving.
