Midweeks could be worse than this year. 4K new flexis and half of those being juniors means night games will have a large amount of tickets available on school nights, plus out of towners/shift workers etc, the usual.

They could obviously do £25 across the ground and fill it, but the issue with that may stem from if there’s a game that goes on sale at the start of the season as a weekend, which is later moved to midweek (eg Palace). There’s no way they end up refunding the difference.

It’s all good and well saying there will be £25 match tickets for midweek games, but there are no details about that yet from the club.

The club can’t charge people full price match day tickets and have £25 match tickets in other parts of the ground, bar the SSL3 away end, which were used to and have accepted as home fans.

Another thought. City will have to shift 9000+ (season tickets) and match tickets for the lesser midweek games, and midweek TV fixtures changes. 8000 in NSL2, and 1000+ in the SSL3 away end.

Would have thought most University students have enough time off to make 10 games.Long time ago but when I was there I kept my ST and made a least half the games, probably more. Plus in those days we had to go inevery day, these days they are hardly in.

My son is over 100 miles away, he can't commit to coming every home game. It would be nice to be assured he still has a full season ticket if he can't make the 10. There is more to life than just footy while they are young. He's been a season ticket holder since he was 3. He'll only be away for 3 years.

Lets see, it would be good to have a guaranteed exemption or flexibility rather than a threat - Saturdays no issue, Sunday late kick offs probably not. Week days definitely not. It costs him £20 to come home for a weekend, he has to weigh it up and also look at his workload and social calendar at Uni. I'm sure there are plenty more like me who have kids away at Uni in similar predicaments.

I rarely missed a home game when I was away at Uni. I think the zero attendance requiring season cards of a couple of seasons ago has undermined our fan base to an extent.

My son is at University but no season ticket.
First we have to weigh up whether we try and get tickets as a family - or does he apply through the OSC he's joined?
Secondly does he have any work that day or classes the day after?
If he gets one through the OSC, are they running transport or not? He doesn't drive, so if not it's the train.
He'd booked transport for the home Chelsea game but it was cancelled late on. Had to pay a small fortune to get the only train going (cancellations due to weather) , half expected he wouldn't get a train back out of Manchester.
All costs are coming out of his own savings currently as he hasn't yet got a "proper" job, just works as a student ambassador.
And he's only 45 miles away.
Praying he can do as well next season (and get some work) as we've been about 6 times and he's done about that through the OSC.
But almost no chance of any season ticket until God dies.
BTW, Sky and the moving around of games, are a major issue for anyone trying to plan ahead.

I think City should remove the minimum requirement for students. All they'd need is some kind of proof of study.

I think city should only impose a minimum attendance on fixtures NOT then subsequently moved for TV scheduling only. Most people sign up with the view Sat 3 , wed 7.30/8. Why should we be penalised if Sky/TNT decide to move a game to 8 on a Sat night or 8 on a sunday which the game was never scheduled for when we signed up to a season ticket?, even more so those who also hold a junior ST.

It's a nightmare to manage. He'll go Uni in September and and there is a risk he won't make 10 games yet City won't listen and just say we will downgrade to a Flexi - thats some thank you for 15 years. Lets see what happens. For those that went Uni and never missed a game. Well done!!

Had this argument with a member of City's ticketing compartment at beginning of season, when you purchase your season ticket there are at least 16 sat fixtures in the calender and 3 midweek games. My lad could make Saturday games but struggled midweek due to living 3hr drive away and being a shift worker ( only guaranteed day off was Saturdays). I stated its not his fault tv move the fixtures. They weren't interested one jot just tried to move him to flexi ticket.
