North Stand expansion | Trial Event - Wed 20th May (p110)

I’m guessing they will have first dibs at away tickets aswell at them prices just like the other expensive hospitality extras.

The tickets will come out of the ticket points pot obviously
There is no ‘first dibs’…
You can apply for a ticket from the ‘hospitality allocation’ but you are then entered into a ballot

Safe standing in the top tiers at Wembley made a big difference in my opinion. Way more people singing and joining in chants.

Hopefully it has the same effect in the north stand, as often chants spread around the ground from the top tiers

It always does.

That’s why SSL3 should be made safe standing as well, just like the away end on SSL3 has been. Or at least 3000 seats should be made safe standing like the new NSL2 has been.

City need to put 2000 - 3000 safe standing seats at the back of SSL3.

We would roughly have 10,000 - 12,000 safe standing seats if City did that. SSL3, Kippax Corner, SSL3 & NSL2.

London’s Wembley Stadium has been fitted with 10,000 additional licensed standing seats ahead of upcoming football matches, starting with the Carabao Cup final between Arsenal and Manchester City on March 22.

The seats were installed over the winter and are located on the east and west sections of the stadium on Level 5. It follows a successful trial which saw licensed standing areas previously established on Level 1.

Atmosphere wise... is it actulally going to be any good? As they origionally said it would be a blue wall and now it it full of hospitality...
There is no hospitality in the NS, there will be some GA+ but about 7000 of 8000 seats will be GA and standing. I think over time good chance the NS will have more atmosphere than the south.

Is hospitality not sitting down and having a meal and a drink at a table in an area of a stand?

If that’s the case, what are City Hall and the Cross Bar classed as?

Because in other stands, similar areas and bars are classed as Men’s Team Hospitality on the
OS.

No, the North stand isn’t full of hospitality, but it has got hospitality, including the Hotel Restaurant, if you want to add that to City Hall and the Cross Bar hospitality offerings.

The GA+ is hospitality thats why it is being sold by the hospitality department.
