The Green Party

Basically Polanski was fine talking about policy but refused to engage with Ed the Ball's policy related attempted gotchas. Maybe it's Balls who needs to up his game here and ask perfectly reasonable, dare I say forensic, questions about actual policy rather than this nonsense.

I initially thought a prefix like former or ex would have helped but on reflection I think not doing that and saying 'politician' was deliberate. He is accusing him of bias but if your line of questions is a series of gotchas instead of serious questioning that is down to him being not only partisan but shit at his job.

Ed just wanted to fast forward to the bigger tits stuff .... rarely, if ever, feel sympathy for his missus ... but

Yes noticed Ed’s justification was it was 14 years ago swiftly followed by the hypnosis question from around the same time.

Sounded just like Farage, goes after the media and bias as a way to not answer any questions. Populists are all the same.

The guy was a former hypnotist who convinced women he could make their breasts bigger by it. An absolute loon with the gift of the gab.

If he was far right he'd be called a nutter and there would be calls for him to be sacked over his past. But because he calls out Israel he gets a free pass.

The far right and far left are just different sides of the same coin.

Bizarrely they both praise Putin.
At the risk of going all Polanski I proscribe 3 more strikes of the horseshoe ...IMG_20240912_200834.jpg

We don’t have a Green candidate ? A choice of …..2 Labour 2 reform and 1 conservative candidates, it’s no choice to vote labour as the best out of three parties.

I’m really disappointed There is no way I can register a protest vote over the genocide in Gaza. I hope by the GE we have a better list of candidates, the greens or Lib Dem’s

“Reform UK has welcomed Cllr David Hawley, who represents the Bold and Lea Green ward, to the party.

Cllr Hawley said he is “proud” to have joined Reform UK after defecting from the Green “

This is why we have two Reform candidates he defected from the greens I just checked the council website.

Disgusted at my choice of candidates Reform is all about controlling immigration.

How the fuck does that happen lol?

Controlling immigration is very important by the way, but it’s only one issue of many.

Bloke wants to be a councillor and has decided that he stands more of a chance with Reform than the Greens, having got on the ballot as a Green.

Shows his lack of integrity and shouldn’t get a single vote from anyone.

Done you over there, pal. Sheep in wolves clothing, as they say.

Always ascertain what their motivation is.

Did that Labour MP ever defect to Reform?

You are upset about genocide, which is the greatest evil, but will vote for Labour?

Doesn’t matter what your political position or opinion is in general matters, you can’t vote for that. Shameless really.

Yes I will vote to keep out reform and the conservatives who I believe would have dragged us into the Iran war if they had been in government and thousands of innocent people have been killed so it’s disappointing I can’t learn what the other parties are about.

Local elections are about voting for the councillors who will do right by local people, we are a staunchly Labour council for decades, a very poor constituency at the bottom of the UK tables..Ex industrial Britain (mining and glass) despite the pockets of poverty it has an optimistic outlook thanks to our Labour council.

This time the choice is limited if we want to find out what the other parties would offer locally and internationally, the other parties are not represented. How we treat people in other countries is a reflection of how I expect the government will treat our own people

You can't protest vote about labour and genocide because you feel there isnt enough alternatives so you will vote for Labour.

Yeah dead bothered about the genocide. Oh my word.

Have Labour committed genocide?

I may have missed something here but are the Tories and Labour up for a period in The Hague?

I said he says populist stuff, which is what Farage does. Not that he says similar stuff.

He's a grifter and he and the far left are the flip side to the same coin of Farage and the far right.

Not disputing he's adopting a populist approach but are you saying you consider Polanski and or the Green Party on the whole to be on the far left? I'd be interested to understand what policies or positions you think are 'far left'?

I'd be staggered if, for example, the Communist party thought his ideas on wealth redistribution such as they are, got even close to being left wing?

Anyone left of centrist suburban dad is far left and if you're more a capitalist fuck you type then they are viewed as full blown commies.
