McPointy 35 appearances 0 goals
Absolutely fucking dross. How he stayed in that RM team for so long I'll never understand

Wardy put a shift in, Bish was classier. The grafters will always shine in teams that are struggling, the more natural need players more on their wavelength. We've had a few who would fit better into teams of different eras. Some posters are confusing overrated with shite and we used to endure plenty of the latter
Rosler and Kinkladze left Maine Road with the club two divisions lower than when they joined yet both were more popular than Dzeko who is more of a hero now than he ever was under Mancini
However the real strange one for me is Ian Bishop who starred in the 5-1 but also featured in our 4-0 and 6-0 defeats at Arsenal and Derby.
Replaced by the unpopular Mark Ward who did a job, but rarely gets mentioned these days
How many PL wins did we ever enjoy with Bishop in the starting lineup?
Probably less than 5
Bish redeemed himself in his second spell, was class in the lower leagues! Some posters are confusing overrated with shite and we used to endure plenty of the latter

Negouai fitted a lot into his limited time on the pitch with us. A blatant handball goal goven v Rotherham and a couple of red cards including one just minutes after coming off the bench at Goodison. He also scored in the Millenium stadium v TNS and apparently sought his own medical advice rather than follow the club's medics. No wonder KK called him his most exciting signing.Christian Negouai, recommended by Phllip Albert, only played 6 times, awful in every one. Also Jason Van Blerk, toss.

I've been a City fan since 2009. For me: Bony, Jo, Mendy. Others? Who knows? Before my support for CIty, maybe someone else.
Dunno, I still think Jo was. ;-)I can confidently say not a single one of those players were or ever will be classed as 'overrated'.
Get out.Barry Conlon
Remember asking him for his autograph and he said no and patted me on the head like I was some dog. PrickI’d go for Gheorge Weah - that he was considered the best player in the world, I’ll never understand
