Decades of spending amounts summing tens of thousands on seasons tickets and someone who goes to the odd game gets their hand on the cheap tickets before you is indeed a joke.
Even for the FA Cup Final a lot of those level 2 seats are never filled. There are always some empty seats in that central tier. Each club got 28,500 tickets.
57,000 tickets in total.
Wembley’s capacity is 90,000.
So once again, the same question every season, where are the other 33,000 tickets going?
The lieing FA will tell us most are going to grass roots officials and people who support football, but that’s a load of bollocks. How many of those people who don’t support City or Chelsea will buy the tickets and traipse to Wembley to watch the match, hardly any. A large percentage of those tickets will end up on ticket touting websites. There’s your answer..
It’s happened @EastMidlandsBlue . I actually can’t be arsed with it. This guy has been told before. Each club got 28,500 tickets.

I went to both Trafford finals, courtesy of tickets given to a non league FA affiliated club. IIRC that club got 5-7 tickets , split between City and United ends.So once again, the same question every season, where are the other 33,000 tickets going?

Whilst I didn't know the details, my point still stands and I believe your response is disingenuous. This is not true at all. While 1894 have had around 230 seats ringfenced, fans can only buy them when they qualify in their own right. For last year's final the singing section was about double the size that it is this year but dozens of fans who signed up to it never got a ticket because they didn't meet the criteria for buying a ticket before it sold out, and any tickets unclaimed went back onto the planner for qualifying fans to buy.
I can't speak for your rant about the OSC because I'm not au fait with that particular process but I suggest you stop spouting false information.
I normally need 2 together for Wembley however my son can't go this time. If he could then we would have been way back in Level 5. As it happens in the Cup Scheme 4pm window I managed to get a single seat near the front so I'm OK. I am a member of a SC Branch however always prefer to select my own ticket and I know for a fact that there are many in our Branch who don't go to many games, have very few points, aren't in the Cup Scheme and yet had first dibs today. It was the same for last season's FAC Final. Ridiculous. Ticket points and Cup Schemes mean absolutely Fcuk All now.3 of us going. All ST holders in the Cup scheme. Had to wait until 4pm when we all became eligible. I've been to every final and semi-final at the new Wembley and have never struggled to get 3 decent seats together at the second-cheapest price. Today was very different. Really not easy at all and the only reason must be the monumental fuck-up by the Ticket Office's handling of the OSC allocation (and I say this as a member of an OSC). I hope our fan representatives are prepared to take the club to task about this as it's right up there with the Real Madrid fiasco a couple of years ago in terms of pissing off loyal fans.
You say you don’t know the details yet you stated that anyone signed up to the 1894 singing section will get a ticket in there, regardless of whether they’re a season ticket holder or not. You basically thought anyone who had applied to go in that section could log on at 10am today and buy a ticket even if they didn’t qualify for a ticket, and instead of being disingenuous I pointed out that you’re utterly wrong on that.Whilst I didn't know the details, my point still stands and I believe your response is disingenuous.
If it goes on sale to cityzens members which it usually does as level 2 is always slow to sell, there will still be £80 tickets ringfenced for 1894 group members, therefore non season card holders will be buying cheaper level 1 seats whereas season ticket holders who qualified beforehand will be paying £125 minimum.
Not to mention the atmosphere group has chosen that area as it's cheaper, not to help atmosphere.
Got ours in first window on points pick of seats, hope those blaming the OSC all attended the semi. There are good branches and bad I assume, most branches I know give tickets for big games to those who travel on a regular basis and fill the transport.Genuine question
Considering we get 30k odd tickets does it really make much difference?
Yeah. same here, 4pm window and where nornally the £50 and £80 seats in level 5 are quite ok for choice It was pretty much booked for a lot of the blocks, never seen that before3 of us going. Blimey you've had a season ticket since 1977 and haven't managed 10k pointsI've been to every Wembley game apart from one community shield when I was on holiday. 4 of us on the cup scheme and been to every game. The semi final we got a 3 hour window before everyone else could jump in. I've got to wait until Tuesday to get ours whilst a mate of mine living down South, not a season ticket holder and has done about 2 home games all season, one against Madrid, goes to a few aways through his supporters club has already got his and his lads Cup final ticket. I've had a season ticket since 1977 and am seriously thinking whats the fucking point in it anymore.

Yep branches got as many as they asked for initially 20% of allocation, then got offered more whether they took them I don't know. To be honest for League cup final and charity shield we were surrounded by tourists who'd never attended a game. Against Utd 50% of our row were gutted Utd lost, I assume those attending final with at least be blues. Was it not the same for the semi?
Should be a rule for everyone buying a ticketThat shouldn't be a hope it should be a steadfast rule regulated by the person who owns the points having their names on the ticket and only them be able to use it
At those seat prices, it’s no wonder.Even for the FA Cup Final a lot of those level 2 seats are never filled. There are always some empty seats in that central tier.
